You looked at Mikasa, confused as to what she meant. "Wait, what's wrong? Do you know who she is?" You asked. "Yeah, she was Historia's girlfriend." Mikasa informed you.
"Oh Historia, the girl you killed?" You asked, just to make sure. The whole time you and Mikasa were talking, her eye's were darted at the floor along with her leg bouncing up and down. You could tell she was panicking.
"Yeah she is. And I know for a fact Ymir's after me next." Mikasa said.
You got off your chair and sat on Mikasa's lap. You gently grabbed her chin so she was facing you and said, "Relax, you're saying that as if it's 100% sure she'll come here." Mikasa took a deep breath and smiled at you saying, "Yeah, I guess you're right."
Mikasa took the remote and changed the channel. She tightened her grip on your waist and said, "I'm so lucky to have you." While kissing your cheek.
The two of you spent the rest of the day watching TV. After a couple hours passed you heard one of the guards yell, "Dinner time."
You and Mikasa got up and headed towards the cafeteria. You got your food and sat down at a table with Hanji, Pieck, and Yelena like always.
"I overheard one of the guards say they're bringing in new inmates." Hanji said.
Mikasa nearly choked on her food. "Are you 100% sure? Who'd you hear it from?" Mikasa asked, in a slightly panicking tone.
"Me and Pieck were in the library and we heard Kristein talk about it, I think he said they'd come tomorrow, or the day after." Hanji informed her. Mikasa looked at you, you looked back at her and said, "That doesn't mean anything."
"Did you guys hear about the fire?" Yelena asked. "Yeah, we did." You said. "One of the people who died sounded familiar to me. Eren Yeager I think his name was. Wasn't that the guy you worked with y/n?" Yelena said. "Yeah he was." "I'm sorry for your loss." Pieck said.
"Fuck him." You and Mikasa said in unison. You both looked at each other and laughed. The rest of dinner time was pretty chill. You could tell Mikasa wasn't on edge anymore which was good.
