During these past couple days, you and Mikasa have grown pretty distant. You still saw her everyday but the two of you didn't talk as much. You've been mainly spending your time with your new friend, Ymir.
In a way, you felt guilty about it. You really enjoyed Ymir's company, but you missed being around Mikasa.
You left your room and made your way to the nearest guard. "Yo Kirstein." You said, walking over to him. "What do you want inmate?" He asked.
"Can you take me to go see Mikasa?" You asked. "Yeah sure." The two of you made your way to the abandoned hallway. One of the things you hated about seeing Mikasa was constantly asking guards to escort you.
Once the two of you arrived, Jean unlocked the door. You opened it revealing Mikasa in shorts and a sports bra doing pushups. You said, "Hey," and sat down on her bed.
"Did you need something?" She asked, still doing pushups, not looking in your direction.
"No, am I not allowed to see you anymore?" "I never said that, I just assumed you'd be spending time with your new girlfriend." Mikasa said.
"Stop, don't be like that." Mikasa got up from the floor and reached over to take a sip of water. "Don't be like what? The two of you have been super close lately." Mikasa mentioned. "That doesn't mean shit, we're just friends." You informed her.
"You probably fucked her already." Mikasa mumbled under her breath.
"Dude, can you stop. You're acting jealous and it's getting annoying. I already told you, there's nothing going on between us. I just came here because I missed you." "Sure you did." Mikasa said. "What? Do you not trust me?" You asked.
"No, I trust you. I just don't trust Ymir." Mikasa said, leaning on the wall, facing you. "So I can't even be friends with her?" You asked.
Mikasa blankly looked at you and said, "No."
"You realize that I'm her only friend, right? She has no one else. You stabbed her in the back by killing the love of her life. So sorry if I'm trying to be a decent human being and be freinds with her." Mikasa was silent.
"I get that but there are hundreds of other inmates in this jail, she won't get lonely so there's no reason for the two of you to be so close." Mikasa said.
