As soon as the name Sasha left Connie's mouth, you swore your heart skipped a beat.
"I'll go, just give me a couple minutes." You said, getting up from the bed and trying your best to make it look like you didn't just finish crying.
After you were done, you left the room and followed Connie to the visiting room.
As soon as you and Sasha made eye contact, she instantly gave you a hug, You then hugged her back of course.
"Whoa what happened, it looks like you just finished crying." Sasha asked, taking a seat at the nearest table.
You sat across from her and said, "Mikasa was transferred to another prison, she got the death penalty."
Your face was still engraved with sorrow, just saying those words made your heart ache. There was no point in lying to Sasha so you decided to be blunt with her.
Her eyes went wide and she stood there, frozen. "When? I was gone for less than a day." Sasha asked in a serious and concerning tone.
"A couple hours ago, the warden just sent her away like it was nothing, I didn't even get to say bye."
You and Sasha sat there in silence, you could tell she was really trying to digest everything. "When's her execution date?'' Sasha asked blankly.
"4 weeks. I'm not letting her stay there. I'll come up with something soon, trust me, I'm not gonna let her die. She didn't deserve it, this whole situation isn't even legal."
"Don't get me wrong, I'm all for saving Mikasa but, how? You're still in prison." Sasha said.
"I know but I'll figure something out. I have 4 weeks to come up with a plan." You replied.
"If there's anything I can do, just let me know, keep in mind, maybe I can be helpful since I'm not locked up anymore." Sasha said.
"Ok then let's brainstorm and come up with some ideas."
After a couple minutes passed of you and Sasha just sitting in silence, thinking hard of any possible ideas, Sasha finally broke the silence and said, "Why don't you just bribe some guards to help you escape."
