"Okay children! I guess we've completed real numbers chapter?! So can we move on to Trigonometry?", Mr. Gillbart asked while I kept the pen down.

"Yes Sir!", All replied in unison.

"Good! Since the time is 12.15 and your lunch break starts by 12.30, let me just given an introduction to the chapter. The rest we will see tomorrow! Is that okay children?", He asked.

"Yes Sir!!!!", We again replied.

Mr. Peter Gillbart has been my maths teacher since 8th grade. He is a happy-go-lucky-man around his mid-40s, with a brain that is sharper than my pencil.

Dramatic! I know!

He is one of the few teachers whom I love the most. He never compels us to learn maths, rather he tells us to take maths as a hobby. The way he explains things will make you remember stuff till you die. Our maths class is always like a circus show.

Infact, he positively affected my attitude towards maths. From teaching us the short-cuts to cracking out jokes, he made it easy for me to learn maths

That's the reason I started loving MATHS!

"Oh my Goddddddddd!", Riya groaned. "Why is the clock ticking so slow?", she whined while placing her head on the table.

This girl!

Nobody hates maths as much she hates it. Her hatred towards it is even more than my hatred towards coffee.

And I mean it!

Even if you make Shakuntala Devi teach her, she will still despise and loathe maths no matter what. She made it her mission in life to hate it.

Hate is a strong word, yet....

"Fineeeee~! Open the chapter children~!", Sir chimed while we followed his instructions rather enthusiastically.

"Sir!", A girl raised her hand. "I have a doubt!", She said.

"Yes ma. What's your doubt?", He asked while leaning on the table.

"Sir, actually Trigonometry chapter is the last chapter. Why are you finishing it beforehand?", She asked.

"Because, Trigonometry is easy to understand and solve. The problems given here are entirely based on what you've learnt from your junior classes.", He said while walking around.

"This year in Trigonometry, we will learn about some important Trigonometric identities and how to solve heights and distances using Trigonometry. Do you get it children!!!??", He asked while writing TRIGONOMETRY on the board.

"Yes Sir!!!!", Everyone replied eagerly.

"Holy biscuit! Why should he take Trigno? I so fudging hate it. Why can't he understand?", Riya whined while attempting to place her head on the table, banging it in the process.

"Owww..", she said while rubbing the sore spot.

Deserves it of bad-mouthing my favorite subject!

"Why do you hate maths so much? It isn't that difficult! How come you're hating such a lovely subject?", I said while dramatically placing my hand on my chest.

"Both of you. Will you lower your volume please? We are still in the class!", Swetha whisper-yelled.

"Sure my lady. We will. Now sit in your place!!!", Riya said while shooting her a glare.
