Kuza POV:
I woke up with my gorgeous baby boy's limbs tangled with mine. I don't mind usually, but I need to work today. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Josh, because I hate leaving him alone, but I have to go in today. Maybe I can leave him with Chris or Justin? I'll have to ask them, and Josh of course, and see what all of them say. I carefully escaped my baby's grasp and headed into the bathroom to shower and get ready for work. I turned on the shower, and waited for it to heat up. While I waited, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Just as I was about to get into the shower, I heard light footsteps behind me. 'What is it Josh?'
'Don leave me..' He sniffled.
'I'm so sorry baby, but Daddy has to go to work. I'm going to ask my friends if one of them can take care of you, yeah?' Josh nodded sadly. I feel awful.
'Go sit on the bed, and let daddy shower, then I'll call my friend, ok?'
Josh scampered out of the room. I stepped in the shower and let the warm water run over my body and hair. I quickly showered and washed my hair. I got out and dried myself, before getting changed and drying my shoulder-length hair.
I picked up my phone and decided to call Chris and ask first, because he's less likely to scare my baby kitten.
'What's up Kuza?' His sweet, low voice asked down the line.
'I was wondering if you could do me a massive favour..' I paused.
'Go on.' Chris urged.
'Well, basically, I was wondering if you could keep an eye on my boyfriend? He's a little and he hasn't been having a good few days, so I don't feel comfortable leaving him alone, but I have to go into work today.' I explained.
'Of course I can look after him. I'm gonna need to know your rules and everything though, I don't want to be a bad influence.' Chris chuckled. I laughed a little too.
'Of course, I need to tell Josh, help him pack a bag, and I'll tell you once we're there?'
'Sure thing. See you soon.'
'Bye!'
I turned to see Josh sitting on the edge of the bed, pouting. I raised an eyebrow.
'Don wan you to go..'
'Oh sweetie, I don't want to either, but I have to, I'm sorry. I love you.'
'I love you too..' Josh mumbled, still clearly unimpressed.
'Let's pack you a bag, yeah? Chris is really nice, I promise.' I assured him. Josh just hmphed. I shook my head and picked up his black backpack from the closet. I put in one of his colouring books, and crayons, his two favourite stuffies, some sensory toys and his noise-cancelling headphones. I looked at Josh.
'You can't sulk forever, you need to get dressed now.'
'Nu.
'So you're gonna go to daddy's friends house in your pj's?'
'Also nu.'
'Why no?'
'M.. m not going. Staying here.'
'Would you prefer if Chris came over here to care for you?'
'No daddy friend, want you.'
I knew he was guilt tripping me but I shook my head and stood up. I packed him an outfit in his back and picked him up. He refuses to get dressed so he can just go in his pyjamas. Josh tried to get out of my grip, but he couldn't. He brought it upon himself. I know that he doesn't want me to go, and I don't want to go either, but he needs to get used to me not being around 24/7. I know that it sucks for him, but it sucks for me too. I carried him downstairs and into the kitchen, where I made us a quick breakfast of fruit, toast and coffee for me, orange juice for Josh. {Yesterday I drank literally almost a litre of orange juice and I felt very ill lmao}.
I glanced over at Josh. 'Just because you're upset doesn't mean that you get to misbehave. You need to eat.'
Josh crossed his arms and turned his head away from me. I know he's upset, and it isn't entirely his fault, but it's starting to get annoying now. I walked out of the room to calm down. I was worried that I would lose it and punish him the way I would if I was a Master to him. That would be far too much for him, and it would break his little heart into a million pieces. I took a couple deep breaths, before turning and going back into the kitchen. Josh looked at my face.
'Wha's wrong dada?' He asked, with his innocent eyes looking into mine.
'Nothing, it's all good.' I smiled.
'I thought you didn like lyin dada..'
Damn. I've been caught. 'Sorry darling. It's just I'm stressed about work, and I don't want to leave but I have to, but you're not really helping with my stress, because you aren't eating, and you're making a fuss. I fully understand that you don't want me to leave, I don't wanna either, but I have to.' I explained.
'M.. m sorry dada. Didn't know.. I eat now.' He smiled. I watched as Josh began to eat.
'Thank you.'
'Is ok! Anything for dada after all..'
God, he's so cute. We both finished up our meal, and I gripped his hand. I had the sudden realisation that I hadn't actually explained my little rules to Josh, and I was gonna have to explain them to Chris too. I guess that I can tell them both at the same time. I said as much to Josh and he nodded.
'I'll pay attention good.'
'Good boy~' I smiled and squeezed his hand. Together, we walked out to my truck. I put his bag in the back and helped him in the passenger seat. I belted him in and kissed his forehead before closing the door and getting into the driver's seat. I did up my seatbelt and started up the engine.
- Time skip to Chris' house -
I parked outside his house. I got out and undid Josh' belt and helped him out. I made sure to grab his bag, before taking him by the hand and leading him up the driveway. I kissed his hand, reassuring him. Josh smiled up at me as we reached the door. I pressed the doorbell. A few moments later, Chris opened the door.
'Hi Kuza. And hi there Josh, it's nice to meet you.' Chris held his hand out and Josh timidly held it and shook it a little. It was adorable.
'What do you say?' I asked Josh.
'Nice to meet you too, mister.'
This made Chris smile. 'Just Chris, please.'
Josh nodded and smiled back. 'Come on in.' I guided Josh in to Chris' gothic paradise of a home. It had dark red walls, with black skirting and doorframes. The doors were also black gloss, with dark mahogany wood floors and furniture. (My dream house essentially - A) I would kill to live here. My house looks like an acid trip dream, and it gives people a headache, but I love it. It's just a combination of neon greens/yellows and black. Chaotic, but cool. In my opinion anyway.
