Kelsie's POV:
"finn i'm going to die." i screech as i stand with my hands over my mouth, nervous asf.
finn insisted we went out and skateboarded, and i have never set foot on one before so i'm shitting myself. its 11pm, but he wouldn't stop going on about it so i eventually gave in and said yes.
"okay, just practice pushing off the ground with your right foot." he instructs as i stand shaking on the board. i'm gripping his hands so tightly i'm surprised i haven't cut off his circulation. i push off from the ground and steadily ride along the smooth pavement; and i'm actually pretty good at it. i place my foot on the ground to stop, and spin around bowing. finn let's out a giggle.
"am i a pro or what? i think i should join a skateboarding, like, national league or something." i say sarcastically while finn walks towards me. i pick up the board and hand it to him.
"okay, now let's try to skate for longer kels. remember to keep a streaky pace, and try to not fall and hurt yourself like your clumsy ass probably will." he replies, smiling.
"you cheeky bitch." i say while rolling my eyes and swallowing the urge to laugh with a smile.
i grab finns right hand as we both begin to skate. i slowly clutch on to him tighter, the bumpier the road gets. the city at night is the most captivating thing. the silver moonlight glistens off of the landscape, and the street lamps light up the pitch black streets. i can see finn watching me from the corner of my eye, a warm smile forms from the corner of my lips. we reach the end of the street and come to a stop. a turn towards him as our eyes meet.
"for somebody Who had never set foot on a skateboard before, you're actually pretty decent." he
