No Turning Back

Chapter 26

A/N I didn't abandon this book, it just got hard to gather ideas since I'm kinda just winging it now. I had a set ending for this but it's getting hard to reach that without having some boring chapters.

    "Alright reunion is over, let's get serious now" I said facing Bokuto and Akasshi "Keiji, Bo I need you two to tail me in one of our armored cars" They both nodded and headed out of the bunker. "Yaku, Lev, Tora, and Inuoka, I'd like for you guys to follow them on foot out of sight please" I asked looking at Inuoka in particular "of course" "as you wish" "alright" Tora elbowed Inuoka "whatever you desire" he said glaring and bowing with one hand over his heart. Inuoka knew that was Kuroo's reply to anything I asked 'he was Kuroo's best friend let it go' I had to take deep breaths before continuing down the list of people I needed to help with my mission.
     It was time to put our plan into action "let's go" i said climbing the ladder to the surface after Bokuto and Akasshi. As I was being helped out of the bunker hole we heard gunshots coming from the ruins "are they under attack or did they just rush in?!" Bokuto yelled frantic. Everyone scrambled out of the bunker "what do we do now? We don't know what's going on!" Yaku yelled over the gunshots "everyone back into the bunker for now! We don't know if they're coming here or not!" I said ushering everyone back in and closing the hatch. "Bo, Keiji, can you two try and get in touch with anyone there? I need eyes on the field asap" I said looking at them "I'll go and see if you need me too" Yaku stood up "no Yaku, what if you get shot on the spot" Lev grabbed him "sorry Lev but sending some of our men there would be our best bet for now" I said shooting him a sympathetic look "Fine but if he's going then so am I" Lev said angrily "me too" Tora piped up "anyone else?" I asked "all right then, Keiji I wod like for you to go with them and report back to me once you find out what's happened" I continued "I wanna go too, I didn't knoooow we could go" Bo started whining to Akasshi "Bokuto-san you have the most important job right now. Protecting Kenma is our main objective here, you need to focus on him at all costs" Akasshi said patting his cheek. After Akasshi and the others left, I looked around to see who all was still here "Kamori, does Yoomi know that you're here?" I asked spotting the brunette hiding behind Inuoka "yes he knows" he said stepping out "if I call him, will he repeat your words?" he looked down "no because  he didn't say anything when I said I was coming" I felt bad "well would you like to help out with plans for rebuilding the castle?" his face lit up "yes, yes I would like that very much" I looked around the bunker for paper and pencils, sitting on a nearby stool I makeshift a table to draw out plans on "I guess since plan A was a bust Bo could you go find me some more clothes please" I asked looking around for him "he went topside, Akasshi called and service is shit down here" Inuoka said indifferently "Ah well then Inuoka you can find me something else" I smiled at him. He grimaced but did as he was told, rummaging around in multiple trunks and boxes he finally found me some basketball shorts and an oversized t-shirt "thank you" I said taking the clothes brushing his hand accidentally. He pulled his hand away as if I had burned him, I just sighed, walked to the tiny makeshift bathroom they had, and changed clothes.
     Upon returning to the room Bokuto was waiting on me "ah finally Kenma, I got some news back from Kasshi" he said running his hands through his hair for the thousandth time "Bokuto what did he say?" I asked carefully waiting on him to answer before I got worried. He ran a hand through his hair again further making a mess of it "he said that George was apprehended but at the cost of three of our men"

Sorry this chapters so short😔 I just hardly have ideas atm I'll be posting slower on this book because of that. Kittybear out 😞✌️
