In the car on the way to the station I filled them in on what has happened so far "I'm so sorry that happened to you Kenma" Bokuto said putting a hand on my head "there's nothing for you to be sorry for, you didn't know" I smiled "I should've been your personal bodyguard, you're like a kid brother to me and I will protect you" he said balling his fists "we're here" Akasshi said getting out of the car and opening my door. Bokuto got out and stood beside me "c-can you hold my hand? I'm scared" I whispered to Bokuto "of course" he said putting his hand in mine. The officers already had Kuroo in a meeting room when we arrived. Akasshi stayed outside the door while I walked in with Bokuto "ah you managed to snag Bokuto from Akasshi I see. Kenma, Kenma, Kenma when are you gonna learn that not everything is yours" Kuroo said smirking at me. He had gotten worse, his eyes had bags under them, his hair was now shoulder-length, he looked paler, he was all bruised up, and he was definitely skinnier. "Well don't you look like death warmed over Kuroo, I have some news to tell you but first why don't you tell me how jails been treating you? Hmm?" I remarked sitting down "it's been fuuuun you know how it is for someone who attempted rape, it's all sunshine and rainbows" he spat "so how are you? I miss you" "cut the shit Kuroo, I came to say that you may be leaving this jail soon" I stood up "wait really? I'm getting out of here!" He cheered, I stood up "have fun Bokuto" was all I said before leaving. I walked to Akasshi whom was standing watching Bokuto from the two-way mirror "did you have fun?" He asked, playfulness dancing in his eyes "I didn't know you could joke Keiji" I smirked "on occasion" he shrugged "and when I feel like" he added smirking back. "Did you get that from Bokuto?" I asked, he gave me a what do you think look at which I just giggled. Roughly fifteen minutes later "that was the most fun I've had in a long time" a disheveled looking Bokuto said slinging an arm over my shoulder "thanks Kenma for the play-date you set me up with" he winked. I looked at the window and saw Kuroo looking more beat up than before slumped over his chair "well let's go back since you had so much fun" I said walking forward.
I promise the next few chapters will be more interesting hopefully. Kittybear out ✌️
