"Oh please, he is too fine"
"Aren't you seeing that one guy?"
"I was." Said Alex
"As in... like past tense?" Asked Rosie, he nodded
"We just weren't for each other, y'know?" Asked Alex
"Can't say I can relate" Said Rosie
"He just wasn't my type. He was too obsessed with Pokemon" Said Alex
"Hey, don't hate it" Said Rosie
"Don't worry, I won't" Said Alex
"What are you 2 talking about?" Asked Steve as he sat down
"Alex has eyes for that guy" Said Rosie, she pointed to him
"Richard?" Asked Steve
"Thats his name?" Asked Alex
"Well, thats his last name." Said Steve
"Alexander Richard... Nope. I can't have a regular name as my last name. Never mind" Said Alex
"My are you picky" Said Rosie
"I'm not that picky. I just don't want a first name as my last name, thats all. They have to be tall, though. And have brown eyes, oh! and they have to be fun" Said Alex
"Why would they need to be fun?" Asked Steve
"Because. I don't wanna play chess as a date. I wanna party! I wanna have fun, y'know?" Said Alex. Rosie could see where he was coming from, she wouldn't wanna play chess as a date. She hardly even knew how to play, let alone know the names.
"Ok. What's the tallest they have to be?" Asked Rosie
"Around 6'3 maybe. Thats the shortest though" Said Alex
"Shortest?! That's giant!" Said Rosie
"Well yeah, I don't wanna be taller than him" Said Alex
"Ok, I'm back. Sorry it took so long, I was waiting on the last order" Said Bucky as he sat down, he passed around tea and coffee that everyone ordered. Rosie just ordered a strawberry-kiwi smoothie.
"Thanks" Said Alex, he took a sip from his tea. Bucky was never one to socialize with people, he hardly talked around others, even when Steve introduced Alex, Bucky didn't talk that much, he nodded and looked around at the sky
"Anyway, Rosie, did Nat tell you?" Asked Steve, Rosie nodded
"Tell her what?" Asked Bucky
"Training tomorrow at 9 pm" Said Rosie
"Oh. Okay" Said Bucky, he continued looking around and slouched in his chair
"Have you tried dating apps?" Asked Rosie, Alex's eyes widened then he shook his head
"No way. Have you heard stories of people getting catfished and going out on dates and then they get drugged and murdered?" Asked Alex
"Nope." Said Rosie and Steve
"Well, it happens. Like, all the time. I'd rather be stranded on an island than try online dating. Also, I don't wanna tell anyone 'Yeah, I met him on a dating app. Try it'. No way" Said Alex
"You'll meet someone someday. It's only a matter of who" Said Steve
"Oop. Poetry" Said Alex
"Poetry? I'm pretty sure it's a quote" Said Rosie
"Call it what you want." Said Steve. Alex kept drinking his tea and gazing at other guys who walked in.
"Would you hurry up and make a move?" Asked Rosie
"Uh uh. No way. What if they're straight?" Asked Alex
"You'll never know if you don't try" Said Rosie
"If I ask and they say no, I'm gonna die of embarrassment" Said Alex
"Just go do it" Said Rosie
"I said no once, and I'd do it again. No" Said Alex, they continued chatting for a while longer until they all left.
