(Shinkai One-Shots)

{he's human?!}

   Shinichi's POV

I was walking back home until something caught my attention a little whimper that I could have barely noticed I was looking for its source but couldn't find it, I decided to walk towards the voice as it became stronger by guessing I approached the voice after 2 minutes I guess, it was a little kitty on the pavement it had few scratches on its legs, it was whining in pain.. Usually, I don't like cats I am more of a dog person, but in reality, I don't like pets it's a big responsibility and distraction so that's quite the problem.

I carried it gently, it didn't seem to bother by it, I was almost home so my destination wasn't far.

finally here, I took my shoes off and placed it on the floor. "I am going to be right back so stay here okay?" I said, iIfelt ridiculous to believe it can even understand me, so pathetic of me.

went to the bathroom and got the ethyl alcohol (also known as sanitizing alcohol).

"Okay buddy I am back!" I knelt down. it looked up at me placed it's head on my knee, i gave it a gentle pat.

"look this will hurt but it ll help to sanitize the wounds okay?" i didn't expect a reply from an animal.

i placed some on medical cotton and grabbed his first foot and placed it on, it flinched and hissed but it didn't scratch me, although my hands were exposed enough to cause an injury. That was weird.. 'Shh...' i pat it  to tell it everything will be over soon enough.

Okay, i am done with four of it's legs.
"You did great, now since your wounds are sanitized you won't get infected by any sort of germ and iit'llremove the pain progressively" I petted it in a sort of comfort I guess.

"You are quite dirty you need to bath, so do I," I said while scratching the back of my head. And yes, I've lost my mind, I am about to make the most careless decision of my life. I carried the cat slowly and gently in case if its wounds still hurt, I had to be gentle with it. 

I headed to the bathroom, with all the courage to take this careless decision, I opened the tap so the bath can fill up I made sure to make it warm, not too cold nor too hot "Okay, so since you need a bath as much as i do i think its just gonna be a 2 in 1... I just have a feeling that you are way too peaceful for scratching, and I am really hoping I aint wrong." it titled its head and just looked at me.

I slid off my clothes and put them aside, I ve already prepared some clothes for after bathing. I got into the bath tub and made sure of the tub's temperature, okay, all good.

" Alright, be a good kitty okay?" i carried the brunette-white cat into the tub, at first it flinched.. But seconds later it relaxed, I slowly placed it on my chest gently but kept grip over it.

Eventually it  purred for some time showing comfortable reactions to my embrace and pettings, I ve always thought i never wanted pets but this one.. Its kind of.. Different..

*Poof!* a little cloud formed infront of me blocking my view for the cat, there was no way that's water vapor it won't explode like that.

I immediately removed my hand from its petting position, soon enough the fog infront of me cleared.

"Hey! What do you think yourself doing! I was getting my head pats here!" the figure infront of me exclaimed.

"y-you are human?!" i was in pure shock.

"oh... About that.. I am, my witch friend asked me if she can test a potion on me thats just the side effects. Sorry if I scared you, if you don't mind i ll borrow some clothes and leave.." he said frowning.

"too bad, you ain't going anywhere" i said with a husky tone.

He rose his head up once more to look at me "what do you mean by that..?"

"means, i got attached to you already , which also means i am never letting you go" i grabbed him into an embrace.

He yelped but soon enough he relaxed once more and started purring and snuggling into my embrace.

"you feel nice between my legs." i marked calmly.

"EH- pervert!" he pulled away but i grabbed him back with a tight grip.

He squeaked then gave up once more, i grabbed him hips slightly forward and placed my head on his shoulder,
"kudo shinchi.",

"kuroba Kaito.."
