Shinichi's POV

I am finally back to my original body, it was fun while it lasted, I met the one which i refer to as 'Angel of Moonlight', my true love.

Daydreaming once more in my fantasies by the window, not paying the teacher any sort of attention, I took that in a private lesson before I suppose.

"Shinichi, mind coming over to the bord to answer this equation?" the teacher said while pointing the other end of the ruler at me, "Yes sure, I don't mind" i let that one annoying smile hakuba taught me, i mean it quite helpful, especially when he does it, it like a natural habit, annoying people by smiling.. I headed over to the bord as commanded and wrote down my answer.

"how...you were looking out of the window the entire session!"

I hummed and went back to my seat.

I rushed down the stairs to the court, searching for kaito, but all i found was hattori and hakuba...
"have any of you saw kaito?"

"kuroba? He said he will be staying home, he is kinda sick" said the blond in his usual cold voice.

"thanks... Hakuba."

School is over, wich mean i am going to visit kaito! What type of guy am i if i don't even visit my beloved when he is sick?! A psychopath would!

I used the spare keys he gave me to let myself in, I putted down the plastic bags I was holding down, i got him some food, sadly not enough to impress him. It wasn't chocolate because it highers the temperature and i don't want him to get worse. I bought some apples, chips wont hurt and ramen.

"kaito, darling I came to visit!" i said proudly not noticing the fact he could of heard me saying darling..

I went to his bedroom door..

"kaito?" i said while having an attempt to open the door.. But its locked..

"kaito? Are you in there?" no response.. But i can hear wood floor creaks, meaning someone is in there.

"kaito! If you wont open the door I ll ve no other choice but breaking it open!" i yelled from the other side of the door.

... The creaks noises became louder and faster...

*SLAM* The door broke open..

"What are you doing?!"
he was holding couple of medicine sheets in his hands..
As he saw me he began to swallow as, much as possible of pills..

"KAITO"

I pushed him causing the opened pills and medicine sheets to fall on the floor...

"no one ever told you medicine overload causes death?!"

*moment of silence*

"i.. I do know.."

". . ."

"you... You were trying to suicide...?"
my voice was trembling and getting weaker with each word i said

He looked at me with a guilty look burying his face between his knees...

I grabbed his chin forcing him to look me in the eyes. "why? Why would you do such a thing kaito?"
He was sobbing as I spoke..

"you wanna know why?! Cause of the father I lost! Cause of your girlfriend cause of aoko who left me cuz she' found someone better ' cause of hakuba who mentally  harasses me! Cause of the jail waiting for me and approaching me day by day!

His poker face was down... All those tears rolling down his face....

I embraced him in an attempt of comfort.. "shhh...., you aint going anywhere... Kai dear... If i didn't love you the way I do... You wouldn't be out of that jail right now... KID, angel... You don't go anywhere.. You are under my protection... Saguru won't do a single thing anymore, I never loved ran anyway.. It was my parents idea thinking we were a 'perfect match'.. "

I stroked his hair gently trying to calm his sobs down

" Hey kai"

"hm..?" he sniffed

*poof* "this is for you, beautiful." i proofed a baquet of blue roses out of my sleeve.
I observed the shocked expression on his face.

"y-you.. You learnt a trick for me?!" he said lighting up from that gloomy mood, taking the baquet in his hands.

"mhm, anything for you." i said landing a kiss on his forhead.
After a moment of comfortable silence i decided to carry him heading to bed, placing him gently.

"lay down with me." he commanded.
I smiled at his voice tone.

"yes your majesty" i said getting under the blanket and resting my back to the bed back.

"good enough." said the magician snuggling into me.

... Getting sleepy already after this quite cozy atmosphere...

"*yawn*, hey shinichi.."

"yes kai?" i responded with a fading voice due to sleepiness..

"promise your work won't change anything in our relationship..."

"promise your heists won't change anything in our relationship"

Sorry for being dead for like a month (less or more)

Finished school a week ago and I wasn't really in a good condition to write. Everything is fine now, i am kinda back to work / movation.
