(Get A Snack At 4 AM) Cashier x Reader [COMPLETED]

Chapter 2.

As you finished up your eggs, you yawned wondering what to do to pass the time. Getting up and putting your plate in the sink, you thought more about the note. If anything, you couldn't stop thinking about it. You thought for a moment before wondering if you should confront the cashier you had met earlier. Would it be a good idea to? Would he even tell you anything let alone know anything about it? You slowed back into reality and looked at your front door.

'Better than not trying at all.' You thought to yourself and you put your shoes back on and darted down the street, on your way to the store. You quickly pushed the door open, stumbling over yourself as you entered. The cashier looked at you oddly and watched as you caught your breath and walked towards him.

"Hi." You stated looking up at him and leaning on the counter still exhausted. He backed up a little.

"Uh- Hi again?" He responded still keeping his gaze locked on you. You held your hand up and slammed the note down on the counter.

"Would you have anything to do with this?" You questioned as he turned it over and looked at it. He shook his head.

"Nope." He replied. You narrowed your eyes.

"Well I found it in the bag you handed me yesterday so I was wondering if you had written it."

He frowned and shrugged.

"Sorry, Skates. 'Don't know anything about that." He added handing you the note back.

"Maybe I should just forget about the note. It was probably left over from someone else and means nothing." You sighed as you put the note back into your pocket. The cashier perked up as you said this, trying to think of something to say as he stuttered over the words he mumbled to himself.

"Maybe you should come just in case- you never know maybe someone actually wrote that for you! And if anything happens- I'll be here..." The cashier stated, his voice trailing off as he spoke the last part. You wondered why he was so keen on wanting you to come here at such a late hour too. You'd think a cashier wouldn't want any costumers so they could sleep at that hour.

'Was this a setup?' You wondered to yourself. You decided you would still follow through with your plan of coming and bringing a weapon just in case. You looked back at the cashier and smiled.

"Well alright. Let me know if you see anyone come in before me. I'd really like to know who wrote me that note." You chimed as you began walking out of the store.

The cashier nodded and agreed he would let you know if someone did come in for you. You left and sat on a nearby bench. Staring up at the sky you wondered if someone would actually be there. Swinging your legs back and forth, you sat and pondered what to do for the rest of the day. Pulling out your phone, you noticed it was already 11:57A.M. The day seemed to go by quick.

As the idea of having nothing to do all day set in, you wondered if you should get your weekend errands done already. You hopped up from the bench and continued on your way to the regular store to stock up on things for the week since again, you had little to nothing left. As you walked away, you could've swore you saw that red hat kid run into the convenience store out of the corner of your eye.

You had finished your weekly shopping trip and had put away all the food to where it belonged. You felt a sense of fulfillment now that everything was restocked. You looked at your kitchen clock and realised it was now already 8:24P.M.

'Time flies.' You thought to yourself as you went to sit on your couch. You told yourself that you'd get ready at 10 and still had some time to spare from the looks of it. So, you decided to sit down and watch some t.v. in the meantime. That was always good for passing the time. At least for you. You watched the t.v. for a little bit until you looked at the clock and quickly shot up from the couch.
