C H A P T E R 1 0

momo wiped off the sweat that was about to roll from her forehead, her hand rested on her waist as they both looked at the finished laundry. the sun had set already and the lights from the nearby post lit over them so they could see what's happening around.

"let's go back inside." momo said as she held shouto's hand. he looked at his hand being held by momo and then back to her smiling face, he then nodded and they both walked back to the mansion.

he was thinking of a topic they both could talk about. meanwhile, her thoughts were full of what she wants to do with him.

"hey how about we watch a mov-" she was cut off when they heard a phone ring from his pocket. "oh, you go ahead, i'll just take care of this." he said and quickly walked away from her.

she watched him to further away from her and just sighed. she wanted to do another movie marathon with him but seems like he's busy. well, a phone call couldn't take hours anyway right?

momo excitedly ran inside the mansion and to the kitchen, she then cooked popcorns and filled two glasses with soda. she brought them to the living room and she began scrolling down, finding a movie to watch.

as the movie played, she heard footsteps and she knew it was shouto. "come let's watch together!" momo happily crawled on the couch to look back at him but he waved his hands and continued to speak to someone using an ear device.

she frowned and just sat down on the couch, pouting. "turn off the lights!" she yelled and minutes after the lights were turned off. she pouted as she continued to munch the popcorn she cooked.

from time to time she looked to her behind, hoping that shouto would join her. as she munched on her popcorn, a thought came to her mind.

she didn't really like attention before right? but now why did she want attention from shouto. she just shook her head and focused on the movie.

time passed and shouto never came. she just sighed and soon fell asleep on the show. when she woke up, it was already morning, the sunlight was peeking through the window, birds were chirping outside.

once she sat up, she realized she was still on the couch. so he never came down after coming up huh? because if he did, she would be sleeping in the master bedroom.

she was quite annoyed by it, but she still made breakfast for him. she knows that he doesn't know how to cook, what a pity. even at breakfast, no shouto was inside the dining room with her.

she puffed and just drank the coffee before putting down the mug on the table. looks like she'll spend the whole day alone.

washing dishes, surfing the internet, cleaning the living room. she did various things just to ease her boredom but she couldn't. biting her lip, thinking of something to do so she doesn't go insane any minute, she ran outside the mansion.

she wasn't wearing any slippers, just her bare feet. she roamed around the whole island, she haven't really went to other parts of the island, only around the mansion.

her eyes sparkled as she found a big fountain. she sat at the ends of the fountain and dipped her feet on the water. it was a fish spa, there were many fish that quickly surrounded her feet.

looking around as the fishes surrounded her feet, she saw a small zoo which she wanted to go next. good thing there was a walkway she could walk on, it would really hurt if she stepped on rocks.

the walkway had tiny bushes beside it which made it look really pretty. the huge trees also covered almost the whole walkway from the scorching heat of the sun. the trees also made it windy, making her dress and her black hair fly along with it.

she arrived at the zoo and there were various animals. there were turkeys, hamsters, rabbits, birds, but then she saw a cage with only one rabbit inside. she was curious why was the bunny alone.

kneeling in front of the rabbit she slowly opened the cage and let her hand in. the rabbit moved away as she continued to move her hand closer, and it almost attacked her but good thing she moved her hand away quick.

as shouto continued to talk through his phone, he glanced at the cctv screens and his eyes widened as he saw the bunny almost attacking momo. "what are you doing." he whispered as he watched the cctv, watching over momo.

"hello? shouto? hey dude you still there?"

shouto sighed as he watched momo trying to get the bunny. that bunny was quite aggressive as the zookeeper who visits often told him, thus why it was isolated from the other bunnies. she's going to hurt herself, shouto thought but was proven wrong when momo stood up, carrying the bunny.

momo smiled as the bunny finally warmed up to her and allowed her to carry itself. "you're very cute, let's think of your name." she smiled as she walked away from the zoo and started to roam around.

her eyes sparkled upon seeing a garden door. as if it was a secret garden. she slowly pushed the door and it revealed the beautiful garden inside. there was a swing, a well, a picnic area. butterflies were flying everywhere.

momo slowly kneeled down and let the bunny go, it quickly went to the willow tree which made her smile. the wisteria covered the garden which made it look magical. there was a small river which had a wooden bridge built to cross it.

she twirled around along with the butterflies fluttering beside her. she then soaked her feet on the small river and the water was quite cold. she chuckled and then sat on the swing.

while sitting on the swing, she was looking at the picnic area. she could totally lay down those usual red and white checkered blankets and sit on it, have a picnic basket with her and eat along with shouto.

she bit her lip and smiled before jumping off the swing and running to the willow tree, she kneeled down, calling the bunny with its new name "willow".

"come willow!" shouto heard and he looked at the cctv monitors. his mouth gaped as he looked at momo looking like a fairy inside the secret garden he built on his island. he smiled as he watched her twirl around with the butterflies, carrying her bunny named willow.

i'm really for late updates, i got writer's block. i feel like it was super rushed as to momo already liked him within 10 chapters :/

10 chapters but they were together for weeks already or even months, i feel like rewriting it but at the same time i feel lazy to do so lol.
