3rd person pov

It's a sunny Saturday morning. You just woke up and outside you hear the birds singing. You didn't move for a couple of minutes and just watched the sunrise.

"How can the sunrise be so beautiful?" you asked yourself still impressed by the sky.

You took a look at your phone to check the time: it's only 6 am.

You're still used to get up this early because of school but since you graduated this year and yesterday was your last school day ever, there is no need in getting up this early anymore.

All of your old classmates applied for college but you never wanted to go to one. You were scared it will be the same as it was in school and it's not the grades or the time and effort that stops you from going - it's the people.

Let's just say you aren't very confident about speaking to people and it always makes you nervous. In school, you never got bullied or anything like this but you also never really had friends and if you did it only lasted for a few weeks and you couldn't really call it friendship anyways these people were more like people who didn't think I'm weird as fuck.

The first years in school you always spent with your sister and her friends. You always sat and ate with them, and they all were nice to you, which was the only motivation you had for going to school. But since the graduation of Niki and her friends, everything changed.

Most of your time you spent alone now. Sometimes Niki came and visited you during lunch break because she felt bad that you're alone now but since she started streaming on Twitch she went to bed really late and usually slept very long so you were alone again. You never blamed her for leaving you alone again. Actually, you were really happy for her that she has found something she wants to do in the future and has fun doing it. She also met a lot of new people, which she told you about but the only person you've ever talked to out of those is Wilbur Soot.

He's a very good friend of Niki, and he's like your big brother. Wilbur lives near to you and he and Niki spent a lot of time together. They always try to involve you and you always have fun with them but you also feel bad while being with them because you are simply not like them. You are not a streamer and you have no clue what they're talking about once Minecraft comes up. But although you have different interests you love them both with your whole heart. They both are always here for you, you could trust them and Wilbur is really good at giving advice and making you smile. They both helped you through so much and you're very thankful for having them.

You always tried to hide your feelings and in school it surprisingly always worked well but as soon as you were in your room and the night set in, your emotions hit. Sometimes you just cried the whole night because of it and woke up with red and puffy eyes. Lately, you felt really lonely and you kinda always did cause you don't really have friends. Well yes of course you have Niki and Wilbur, but they're family.

To be correct they are the only family you have left since both of your parents died in a car crash when you were only 14. Niki was 16 at this time. It was a difficult time for both of you. You lived with some good friends of your mom until Niki turned 18 cause now she was able to take care of you alone. After that, you moved into a house together and since then you only had each other.

Yours and Nikis relationship is great but you always felt like you would border her and Wilbur with all your problems and that's why all you ever wanted was a best friend, like a real one. Someone that likes you for who you are. You paid no attention to the fact that you never had a relationship or hold hands with a boy or even had your first kiss. You just wanted to be happy again but you had no hope left.

At least until you met him...
