Niki looks at me confused

"Yeah Sapnap, he's a streamer too.
Is everything alright?" she asks

"Yeah everything is okay it's just a funny name" I answer

Shit shit shit. That is the worst excuse I've ever came up with. Nothing is okay. I absolutely don't want to speak to him, not after admiring pictures of him for minutes and not even knowing why I did this. I don't even know him.
Why am I so nervous?
I mean yeah speaking to people, in general, makes me really nervous but this feels different and I don't know why.

Niki and Wilbur both look at me.

"Do you wanna talk to them now, they would all really love to meet you."
Niki asks again.

To be honest I already forgot they all are still on a call and are waiting for me.
If I say no it would be even more embarrassing because I did let them wait this long so I guess I kinda have to say yes...

"uhm y- yeah I think I do it" is say with my shivering voice.

Nikis face lights up and a huge grin grows and Wilbur also looks happy but they both also look really surprised.

There are a few moments of silence where we just all look at each other until Niki breaks it:
"Omg I was sure you're gonna say no, I didn't expect that but omg yes come sit down on my chair".

I slowly stand up and walk over to Nikis chair and sit down. I can't believe I agreed to this. I am scared and nervous but my brain is literally empty. I want to say no, stand up, run in my room and look myself in it but I can't. My body resists and it feels like I forgot how to speak. There is no way out of this anymore.

"Everything will be fine they're all cool and Niki and I are here too" Wilbur says.

I really needed to hear this.

"Okay," I reply, " I think I'm ready"

Niki hands me her headphones and I put them on.
I'm shaking and my hands are sweaty.
She starts clicking some buttons on her pc and I think she just unmuted because she gives me a thumb up.

"h-hello?" I say with fear in my voice

"HELLO WOMAN" I can hear a really loud voice in the headphones

"Shut up Tommy" Wilbur tells him instantly while laughing

"I guess you must be Tommy then" I say laughing

"OH YES I AM AND I AM ALSO A GENIUS" he answers

at this point I already forgot I am talking to people, I'm just laughing

"You are NOT a genius you are just an  annoying child" a voice interrupts him
"I'm Dream btw what's your name?"

"Oh hi Dream, I'm y/n"

"That's a beautiful name, I'm Karl" a voice with an American accent answers

"Hii nice to meet you y/n I am George"

"and I'm Sapnap"

After Sapnap saying that there's silence. Is he really talking to me right now? Is this a dream?
And still, I have no fucking clue why I'm thinking about him so much.

Luckily Karl interrupts the silence.
"so y/n how old are you?"
he wants to know.

"oh I'm 18" I answer

"NO THIS CAN'T BE TRUE WHY AM I ALWAYS THE YOUNGEST" Tommy shouts angry

"You will always be the youngest" Dream response with a grin in his voice

"I HATE IT HERE" Tommy says before leaving the call.

Everybody bursts out laughing.

"so if you're 18 you're only one year younger than me"
Sapnap interrupts our laughing

"uhm y-yeah I guess" I answer shy.

We spoke for a couple more minutes. I told them that I just graduated and that I don't really know what to do next and they told me some things about them.

At one point I realized how late it already is and that I'm really tired.

"hey uhm guys I'm really tired so I'll leave"

"yeah no problem bye y/n it was nice to meet you" they all answer

"we definitely have to talk again" I can hear sapnap say just a couple of seconds before Niki leaves the call.

Did I hear that right?
He wants to talk with me again?
With me?
I'm literally a nobody.

Niki come up to me with tears in the eyes and hugs me
"You did it, you did it you spoke to people. I'm so proud of you"

"Yeah I think I really did it but I want to sleep now I'm really tired"

"Of course y/n go you need your sleep"

I stand up and go to the door

"Good night y/n sleep well" I hear Wilbur say before I close the door.

I walk to my room and sit down on my bed.
Wow, I really spoke to people and I didn't have a panic attack. I can't believe this is true but it's real.

I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, take off my make up and change in something more comfortable to sleep in.

I turn the lights off and I am about to fall asleep until I receive a message from an unknown number:

hey

it was really nice to meet you today
I think you're really nice and I hope we maybe can talk again soon
I hope you sleep well
