The look on the younger teen's (s/c) face as they stared themself in the body length mirror was calm, almost a confident feeling. The sky blue jacket that their older sibling lended to them had matched nicely with their spring styled outfit. Their eyes trailed to a blue sticky note resting on the brim of the mirror.
"good morning, _____! we're going shopping today so wear something comfortable, it's really hot. i left a sunhat for you on your door if you wanna wear it :)
- haruhi"A soft smile painted their lips as they grabbed the hat, stepping out of their room and into the small sitting room. Their sibling, Haruhi, was stood over the table, sliding plates of pancakes and barries across from each other in their pink and white pajamas. The younger waved, sitting next to the standing Fujioka.
"Hey, Haru." They smile, grabbing the cup of instant coffee out of their hands.
"Hello to you too. That's mine." Haruhi takes it back, switching it out with the other drink. _____ laughs, scooting over to let the older sit down.
The sound of a car passes by their home while they eat, as they speak of their tasks for the day and coming to different assumptions of where their dad had dissapeared to. The brown haired sibling had said the library while the (h/c) haired one had guessed to his job. The answer remained unsolved while Haruhi placed the plates in the sink, rinsing them quickly, before going to change.
Minutes later, the older placed the house keys in the pocket of their black pants and fixed the sleeves of their indigo shirt, looking more masculine than usual. The wind blew into the younger's face, causing them to hold their sunhat onto their head. They both carries woven baskets on their inner arms, heading out to the market place. As they walked around, they carried on a casual conversation, having the same relaxed pace as it did at breakfast. Haruhi was a fast walker since they had lots to get so, everytime _____ turned around, they'd be in a different aisle. _____ panicked for a moment, searching for them, only to find them calculating prices for fruits.
"Haruhi..." They sighed, grabbing onto their hand. "Stop going so far. I don't wanna get lost in.. all these people." Their brown eyed sibling smiled.
"Sorry. I noticed they were having a 30% off sale on some (favorite fruit) and wanted to get you some." They shared a smile before continuing with their shopping.
About 40 minutes later, they had reached a donations fair on the other side of the neighborhood. It's where the two got most of their clothes unless Haruhi made some themself. They had led the younger to a stand of sowing supplies and needles, carefully looking through them. A taller girl with short red hair and green eyes stood up from underneath the counter, catching the Fujioka's attention.
"Oh, welcome. Do you need some help?" She smiled, tiny hearts forming in their eyes. They nodded, laughing nervously for being quiet for so long. _____ laughed softly at them, looking around the fair as they kept their arm interlocked with Haruhi's. A stand of crystal jewelry had caught their eye, specifically an Amethyst bracelet that made them think of the other. Their father had split some money between them, the younger getting a little more for some self spending. They looked over to Haruhi, who was happily chatting with the girl, so they weren't moving anytime soon. It wouldn't be horrible to slip away for a second and buy them matching bracelets, right? Right.
_____ carefully moved their arm out of Haruhi's pale one, quickly jogging to the stand. A taller girl in a yellow sundress waved to them, getting a nervous smile back. Their eyes trailed the hanging jewelry, re-finding the amethyst bracelets, and asking for them, somewhat quietly. The working blonde happily pulled them down as they traded the gift with _____'s 218 yen. They smiled into their hands, sliding one of the crystal bracelets onto their (s/c) wrist, shaking it slightly.
Their eyes were connected down to their bracelet as they walked back to where Haruhi was- wait. Where was Haruhi? They were just here. Oh no. Oh, no no no. They were right here!! Where did they go? _____ nervously fidgeted, shifting side to side on their feet. A sense of anxiety raised in their chest before two ginger boys appeared next to them.
"Are you okay, _____?" The Fujioka jumped slightly at the unknown voices, speaking at the same time.
The slightly shorter twin smiled apologetically. "Sorry! We're friends of your sister, Haruhi. Have you seen her?"
"No.. I was getting them a gift and.. and now, I can't find them." The identical boys shared a look before one of them walked off, calling out for Haruhi, the other sitting next to the (h/c) haired child. There was a nervous, awkward air stirring between them. "H-How do you know Haruhi?"
"We're in a club together at Ouran. I'm Kaoru and that was my brother, Hikaru. I'm sitting with you until he finds her." _____ nods, holding the bracelets, and starting a conversation with the ginger twin.

"And that's when he came up behind me and bam! Poured ice cubes into my binder. I.. kinda screamed like a little girl." Kaoru smiled, happy to hear the younger's laughter. "So, that's why we're here to get another binder." He explained when a voice shouted out.
"_____!" Worried, brown eyes met smiling, (e/c) ones as the older ran towards them. "Are you okay? You dissapeared on me!"
"Haruhi! I'm sorry.. I saw a gift I wanted to get us and I tried to be back super quick but, you dissapeared, too." They barried their face in their indigo shirt, showing Haruhi the mentioned gift.
"You're right so, I'm sorry, too. These are beautiful.. Thank you." They smiled, putting it on and turning their attention to younger twin. "Thanks for watching _____, Kaoru."
"No problem! It was nice making friends with both Fujioka's." He smiled. They talked for a bit, more Kaoru and _____ chatting a bit more, before they separated.
As the two walked home, a smile had been stuck to the brunette's face the whole walk. Even with somewhat heavy baskets and their arms full, they were smiling about something.
"What are you smiling about?" The younger teen questioned.
"I see you're making friends." They said proudly, unlocking their apartment door. "And with Kaoru, of all people! I thought it'd be Mori-senpai before him."
"Mori-who now?"
