"you forgot your uh... bag."

At 9:00am, on the dot, the silent type of Ouran's Host Club, Takashi Morinozuka, was in the door. The moment his newly polished shoes hit the tile floors, the bell went off. He let out a sigh, only realizing he had left his bag at home.

This monday morning wasn't the greatest. Somehow, he woke up later than he was supposed to and missed getting a ride with his cousin, Mitsukuni, missed eating breakfast, and now left his school bag at home. Even his younger brother, _____ Morinozuka, wasn't at school on time. He was in the shower as Takashi left so, the younger was going to be much later.

First class would be Japanese history, aka one of Takashi's favorite classes. At least, it would be if he had his notes. Out of all the day his teacher had to give a quiz... It's not like he failed, he was smart and got the highest marks, it just wasn't very pleasant on top of his already bad day.

Next, Geography, another class he was skilled in. Though, it'd be better if he had his notebook to take notes for the homework. He could try to remember everything but, his sleep was very restless so maybe not the best idea.

In the end, he wrote notes down on multiple napkins and had them stuffed into his coat pocket by the time the Host Club opened up.

Stepping into the bright pink room, the rose petels hit him in the face, two identical snickering laughs coming from the corner.

"Sorry, Mori-senpai!" A higher pitched voice laughed, sounding more apologetic than his twin. He shrugged it off before sitting on the plush couch.

"Afternoon, Taka-chan!" Mitsukuni Haninozuka, his smaller blond cousin. "You weren't on the car ride to school this morning. I was kinda lonely. But, it's okay!" The taller patted his head as a silent sorry.

He laughed and sat next to Takashi, as he started to talk about his day. The Host Club went as normal, girls walking in and out, sad eyes turning into bright faces. Some girls made a B-Line for the "normal type" host, Haruhi, today since they had been letting the girls talk about their "personal" life, such as family issues and self-esteem. It did make the club boss, Tamaki, get a little sad until more girls paraded towards him.

Some of the girls played the twins' little "Can You Guess Which One is Hikaru?" game, none of them getting it right. Some of them trailed to Kyoya to ask questions, as they usually do. The girls who came over to Mitsukuni, or Honey, were taken aback by how down Mori seemed and even offered to share their treats with him in empathy. While he appreciated it, he just wanted his things. His books, class notes, pencils, he just wanted his bag.

The one with a clean look until you see the mess on the inside of paper. The one with a random piece of candy in it, always given by Honey. The one with a "You're a Star!" gold star sticker on the sash and a sharpie smiley face on the side from _____. The blue notebook with everything he thought of during the day, so that he could show his brother when he got home. He just wanted his things.

"You must be a new customer, aren't you, beautiful?"

"Uh.. what now?"

Takashi's head popped up from Honey, feeding him a piece of cake, to a familiar voice at the door of the host club's room. A small, (h/c) haired boy, in a Ouran High's boys' uniform. His blazer was slightly falling off his shoulders as he looked at Tamaki weirdly. A familiar sash was over his exposed, dark shaded shoulder, the actual bag swinging near his knees.

"Uh.. I'm just looking for-" He was stopped by the older, stepping closer.

"Oh, don't worry, love.. I know exactly what you're looking for here~"

Before his hand could touch the shorter's, Takashi stood behind them, physically looming over them. The blond awkwardly stared up at him before moving away, unnecessarily quick and hiding behind the twins. The (h/c) haired boy looked up, craining his neck back.

"Hey, Taka-san." He softly stared down to the shorter.

"Afternoon, _____."

"You left your uh... bag." He sighed, lifting the bag upwards. Everything was there. The candy cane sticking out the side, the classic sticker and smiley face, and most importantly, the blue notebook of his thoughts. The black haired boy patted the shorter's hair, taking the bag, and smiled softly.

Music Room #3 became completely silent. Takashi Morinozuka, Ouran's intimidating 3rd year, being so kind to this.. random 1st year? Sure, he's naturally nice, but who was this kid? _____ laughed as the black haired boy removing his hand from his head, taking in the silent confusion of the room.

This dark skinned boy in a school like this when his blazer isn't even ironed correctly? And Takashi, being so nice to him? It needed answers.

"Uh.. I guess I should introduce myself to my brother's friends."

...What.

"I'm _____ Morinozuka! Nice to meet you all." That sparked so many questions... mostly from Tamaki and Hikaru, as Kyoya and Kaoru had met him once before, Haruhi's only heard of him, and obviously Honey and him were related.

"You look so different, though? How are you-" Tamaki started to question, but was quickly shut down by Haruhi hitting him with a book, saying their own hello. _____ let out a laugh, stepping closer to Honey's table of girls.

"Ladies.. very nice to see you." Some giggled, others waved. He turned to his brother, already taking out his thought journal, and writing quietly but fast. "Taka-kun, may I stay for a bit?" He nodded, pulling a chair over to their table to sit next to each other.

Seeing the Morinozuka's next to each other, one tall and reserved and the other, short and friendly, honestly made the girls of the club fall in love with him.

Takashi was just happy to have his top two favorite people with him, his younger (and only) brother and his hyperactive cousin.

However, Tamaki was back in the corner, sulking over the lack of attention he got... as always.
