A Plan and A Lead?

After the twelve finished eating and bickering, Haseul finally made the others stop arguing for once, and told them about planning things such as getting food, medical supplies, and equipments for combat.

"You know how this whole dilemma is very serious, that we're thankful enough we aren't dead or bitten yet. But we still have to get supplies and essential necessities, good thing we still have lots of food and medical supplies are placed in each bathroom."

"But just in case things took a turn for the worse, specifically us not having any more food and those creatures actually getting inside this house, we need to have a plan." Haseul said, which earned nods from the others.

"So what's the plan?" Yeojin asked.

"You thought I could function properly and make a plan alone? Think again Yeojin."

"Damn no need to be harsh I was just asking"

"...Anyways, just like I said, thinking of a plan alone wouldn't work out. As much as possible, I need everyone to cooperate and share their thoughts and ideas, to be able to make this plan."

The other girls agreed, but none of them seemed to talk and share their ideas.

Until one of them, which was Jinsoul, spoke.

"I thought of something, can I share it?"

"Of course you can! Feel free to share" Said Haseul, telling Jinsoul to go on.

"So I thought that we should split into three groups with four members each. The Combat group will be those that would fight obviously, the Strategy group will be those that knows a thing or two about zombies and strategize easily, and the Supplies group which are basically those that will take care of the supplies." Jinsoul shared her idea to the group, which got positive reactions.

"Though who would be assigned in each group?" Heejin curiously asks.

"You can volunteer, but be sure that you're going to the group that fits you and what you can do."

"Me and Hyunjin will go on Combat. We're both good at fighting" Sooyoung said, which got an 'okay' from Jinsoul as a reply.

"I'll also go to Combat. And I think Yerim should, too. I'm pretty good with knives while Yerim is good at batting. I think that would do?" Hyeju added.

"Me and Yeojin will go to the Strategy group. My expertise is strategizing, Yeojin can also strategize but she's mainly working with Technology, given the fact that she's good at it." Chaewon also told the group.

"Can I join the strategy group too? I kinda have this book about zombies, and the traits said in here are similar to the traits the zombies give. I thought that this book could give additional information." Jiwoo asked, in which the others agreed to.

"Jinsoul unnie, I think you should join the Strategy group with us. You're the smartest here, and I know you could give a lot to this group and our plans." Chaewon told Jinsoul.

Jinsoul agreed, which means that the remaining four, Haseul, Jungeun, Heejin, and Vivi would be in the Supply group.

"But to be specific about what you'll do, based on what you said and your expertises, in Combat group Hyeju will be fighting with knives, Yerim and Hyunjin will fight using the bats, while Sooyoung is fighting by hand. Just be careful to not get bitten just in case."

"Then onto the strategy group, Me and Chaewon will be doing the overall strategy, Yeojin is in charge with locations, mapping, and more tech stuff, while Jiwoo would be helping us with the information she has with her book, to gain more knowledge about the creatures."

"Vivi is in charge of the food supplies, Haseul with the medical supplies, Heejin and Jungeun with the Combat supplies." Jinsoul explained.

"Looks good enough. Thanks for that." Haseul told her. Jinsoul just smiled a bit before someone talked again.

"But now that we're talking about zombies right now, what information do we have about them?" Jungeun now asked, making everyone look at Jiwoo, who's still reading her book about said creatures.

"Oh...! Are we talking about the zombies now?" Said Jiwoo.

"Yes, now if you could tell us what's in that book..." Replied Jungeun.

"Okay then... So here, it's said that Zombies are extremely sensitive to noise. People have to make the littlest of noise to not attract the creatures. It's also said that there are different types of zombies, based on how long they've turned." Jiwoo first explained to the group, and the others told her to go on.

"First are the Sleeper zombies, they're mostly the ones who just stay still and doesn't lurk around, but are the most sensitive to noise. It means they've been turned for around 2 days-"

"2 days? But this just happened a day ago? Jiwoo, are you sure we can actually trust this book? Might've been just a fiction story or such that coincidentally matches some descriptions of the actual ones?" Asked Haseul.

"But this book doesn't even contain characters and such. Just information about zombies and experiments, more of a journal I think."

"Can I take a look at the book?" Hyeju asked Jiwoo, who obediently gave the book.

Hyeju scanned the pages, and just like Jiwoo said, the book is looking more like a journal that contains information about zombies. She scanned more until she saw a piece of paper on one page.

She opened the piece of paper, and there was a letter from someone, which she assumed was from the writer of the book itself.

'To whoever sees this book and the apocalypse had already ignited,

First of all, I express my sincere apology. People from our lab didn't expect such things to happen. The original goal of this experiment is to make a human who would be immune to everything, from illnesses to gunshots and other things, which might look impossible but isn't. I wrote all the information about the experiments, but by the time I published it into a book the lab was slowly getting full of failed experiments, and anytime soon an apocalypse will probably start. But know this, there's still hope. A possible cure might be found, in the only successful experiment we had. One of my daughters.

But they weren't able to finish the letter. It was torn.

"So there's a successful experiment, which is the scientist's own daughter, but how on earth would we find her WE DON'T EVEN KNOW HER NAME" Yeojin started.

"We're hopeless. Unless the daughter goes to us or to whoever. But really, how are we supposed to do something with this information?" Hyunjin also said.

"At least we know how this started. Just mad crazy scientists creating mad experiments that fucked up the whole country."

"Honestly, they should've just stopped when they knew things were already getting out of hand. No need to continue and put everyone in trouble?"

"I feel bad for the daughter though, her own father experimenting on his own daughter for his mad desires, imagine if she became another failed experiment."

The conversation went on for a few more minutes, before everyone just stopped.

And now, the real thing begins.

School just kinda ended so I finally had the time to write another chapter! 

One more chapter before a new arc begins, hehehe
