Thirteen

When the morning of the second day came, Taehyung woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

His eyes felt heavy from lack of sleep because of Jackson who kept on invading his space last night, tossing and turning nonstop.

He couldn't bring himself to finish his breakfast as his eyes were threatening to close while his friends were eating with gusto.

Taehyung couldn't help but glare at Jackson who didn't seem to be fazed.

"Jackson, do me a favor and change place with Yoongi. Your damn sleeping habits didn't make me sleep a wink." He groaned, slumping his head on the table.

"Okay. Mark wanted to sleep together anyway." Jackson uttered, earning a 'what the fuck' look from the group.

"What?" Jackson looked clueless, making the others shake their heads.

"You and your vocabulary will one day start rumors from spreading." Mark said as he continued to finish his meal.

The conversation didn't end there with Jackson still asking what was wrong with what he said.

Taehyung could only close his eyes, disregarding his still untouched food. If not for his goal of winning, he would have skipped the games for the day.

He was dozing off when JB gently touched him by the shoulder and whispered.

"Chaeyoung is coming this way."

Taehyung slowly opened his eyes and saw the woman stop in front of him.

"Are you okay, Taehyung?" She asked with worry as she looked at him.

"Yeah. My head just feel a bit heavy." He answered, finally sitting properly.

He saw her take out a medicine from her small pouch, talk about girl scout.

"Here. This might help." She said with a smile.

Taehyung took the medicine for headache and thanked the other for the concern.

"You're a lifesaver." He grinned which he wasn't aware to have made the other blush.

"Happy to help." Chaeyoung beamed before taking her leave.

"I'm telling you she likes you." Yoongi muttered which everyone seemed to agree on.

"Sooner or later you'll get confessed on." Joshua added but Taehyung didn't say anything as he took the medicine and gulped it down in one go with the aid of the water.

"She's a nice person. If she'll end up confessing, I won't be turning her down in a harsh way. She deserves just as much." He said, earning a nod from the rest.

The breakfast ended with Taehyung feeling a bit lightheaded even after taking the medicine.

He just brushed it off though as the game for the second day started. They were lined up on the field to listen at the teacher's discussion of the rules of the game.

The game was hide and seek, but with a twist. Instead of all of them hiding with one seeker, it would be the other way around.

A ranger would hide anywhere in the vicinity of the camp which would be like finding a needle on a haystack.

The goal was simply to find the ranger first before the other class.

Since this was just hide and seek, the women were able to join the game with the men which increased the probability of finding the ranger fast.

"Remember. Always observe caution." The teacher reminded as he blew the whistle which signified the start of the game.

Amid the crowd, Taehyung saw Jungkook making his way to him which made him smirk.
