It was late in the afternoon when Taehyung and his friends finished having their clearance signed.
They decided to have their late lunch in the school's cafeteria where not much students could be seen.
Since the school year was over with nothing but the signing of clearance and the upcoming JS Prom to look forward to, not much students bothered going to school.
Aside from the student council who were busy with the planning for the said event, only those who still have pending tasks to do and those who volunteered to help set up for the event were attending the last days in school.
As the group lined up to order food, Taehyung couldn't help but notice Jackson's unusual behavior towards Mark who seemed to be treating the other with the same awkwardness as they avoided to stand next to each other on the line.
"What's up with those two?" Taehyung asked to Yoongi on his right who did not give a damn even in the slightest.
"Do I look like I care?" Yoongi retorted which made Taehyung's brow arch at the other's response.
He's used to Yoongi's rough attitude, but today, he seemed to be even saltier than ever.
"What's up with you too?" Taehyung asked, eyeing the other who just walked past him to be in the front of the line.
Taehyung did not try his luck as he silently moved to get his own lunch while his friends headed for the table in the middle of the room.
After a few minutes, all of them were already busy eating as they talked about random things from time to time.
Taehyung was sitting with his back facing the entrance of the cafeteria when he noticed the sudden change in the mood of Yoongi who was glaring past him.
He turned his head to look and saw Hoseok entering with a bunch of student council members and being all too friendly with Jimin in particular.
It only took him seconds to realize why Yoongi seemed to be deadlier than usual.
"So that's the tea.." Taehyung murmured which earned a glare from the other and a laugh from the rest of his friends.
The goofy smile on his lips dropped when he saw a few more students entering, one was Jungkook who immediately smiled at him as soon as their eyes met.
Taehyung could only return the smile, disregarding the fact that Jennie was one of the students who came in with the blond.
It's not like they're standing next to each other nor interacting, and they're with other students too, so it's nonsense for Taehyung to think of unnecessary things.
After all, Jungkook and him finally talked everything out, and it's clear as day to him that he's the only person who resides in his heart.
"Hey, Yoongi!" Hoseok's loud voice suddenly erupted in the cafeteria as he happily made his way to their table while the members of the student council lined up to order their food.
Yoongi only gave the other a glare before butchering the meat on his plate with fork as he vented his anger on the innocent food.
"I've been calling you but you're not answering." Hoseok said, taking a seat next to the other who ignored him just the same.
"Did you purposely ignore my calls or you just didn't notice them?" Hoseok asked, leaning his face closer to Yoongi who looked murderous at that moment.
Taehyung could only look away to hide his laughter. It's not everyday he could see Yoongi so worked up yet still able to control himself.
As he focused on eating, he felt a hand on his shoulder, followed by the voice of the person he knew too well.
