Twenty Three

"IT'S SUMMERTIME!!"

Jackson bellowed, snapping numerous heads in his direction at the booming of his voice as he ran towards the beach.

"What the fuck?" Yoongi hissed, the sound ringing in his ears.

The other didn't seem to care as he continued to groove his way to the sparkling blue water while singing at the top of his lungs.

"It's summertime and you know what that means.
Gonna head down to the beach, gonna do some beachy things.
It's summertime, it feels just right.
Gonna gather all my friends and we'll party through the night." Jackson continued to bop his head while whistling like a crazy man.

"Someone make him stop." Yoongi uttered, pissed.

"Let him be. Ain't he cute?" Mark commented, smiling like a love-struck fool as he followed Jackson.

The school year has officially ended with everyone passing, much to their relief.

As a celebration, Taehyung and his friends decided to have their annual summer getaway, now with an addition of their respective lovers and new found friends.

"Can someone help me with our things?" JB asked as he unloaded their things from the van.

"Let me." Chaeyoung volunteered.

"I'll help too." Jimin seconded.

Everyone started carrying their things inside the transient house that they had rented for a two-day staycation and only for a cheap price, thanks to Namjoon whose family owns the house.

"This is nice." Jennie commented as she saw the inside of the house.

It's a two-storey house with a monochrome and minimalist aesthetic which screamed sophistication, a real Namjoon-like house. Smart, simple, neat, and overall pleasing to the eyes.

"Namjoon really has it all, huh? The looks, the brains, the manners, and now the wealth." Joshua uttered, whistling in appreciation.

"Add sexiness on the list." Namjoon added, grinning.

"Damn. I could only agree." Seokjin butted in as he gave a wink to the other who only laughed.

Everyone just snickered in response. No one could disagree since they couldn't find the lie in his words.

As they busied themselves with organizing and room picking, Taehyung and Jungkook were busy filling the refrigerator.

"Everyone's so lively." Taehyung commented as he passed the perishables to the blond.

"It's fun, isn't it?" Jungkook asked with a smile.

"Yeah. It's nice to have a lot of people in these kinds of trip." Taehyung responded, watching everyone do their designated tasks.

After the volunteering they did together with the student council members, they surprisingly formed a bond that soon became friendship.

Since the fourth years already graduated, Taehyung and his friends decided to invite them.

And it was such a good decision because even though they just arrived in the place, Taehyung could tell they would have a blast together.

"Tae.." Jungkook called out, catching Taehyung's attention.

"Hm?" He hummed, blinking his eyes in curiosity.

"We're sharing rooms, right?" Jungkook asked with an expectant look on his face.

The question made Taehyung chuckle.

"What are you expecting, Mr. Jeon?" He asked, teasing the blond who smirked.
