I  feel someone streak my hair gently.

With this, my eyes fluttered immediately. I notice I'm inside the tent. My head aches and I groan.

I try to get up but someone prevents me from doing it.

I turn to the person, my face annoyed.

And just as I turn, I see
Edmund.
Edmund.

My heart skipped a beat upon seeing him again.. Safe.

Though there were some bruises on his face, lip bleeding from a wound. He's here 1 piece.

More questions arrived not sure what to ask first.

"Wha- How long have I been sleeping? And how d-" I ask him

"Shh" he says putting his finger in his lip and stroking my hair using his free hand.

I blush, and my heart beats faster and faster.

"I'll answer them," he says gently.

I gave a blush and a nod as a reply.

"I came back yesterday, afternoon," he says, first.

"God,I regret everything,Julia!" He says to me, eyes watering.

"After all I've done, the creutures were there to save me," his head was down showing he was a shame.

"After that, I arrived here. Aslan talked to me. And now I want to go back in time to change all the wrong I did. But now as I am in the future, nothing to do with the past, all I can do now is be a better person as I can be,in the future ," he continued, head still down.

With words said, my heart melts and I smile at him.

"Oh, Edmund" I say to him and use my hand to lift his head up.

He now looks at me and we stare at each other.

"And I couldn't have regretted it without you," he says looking deeply into my eyes.

"Aside from betraying Narnia, I've betrayed you as well,"

I see the pain in his eyes.

The regret too.

It was amazing how this boy's icy eyes has turned to liquid.

Just like how Narnia was extremely cold before. But now it was replaced by grass and the bright Mr.Sun.

And coming from his words, it was because of me.

I sit up straight to hug him, not minding the pain that I feel in my back.

"Thank you," he whispers in my ear

I close my eyes, wishing I could stay in this position, forever. And I smile thinking about it.

But the hug didn't last long. Just like any other hugs, it goes away quickly. Although for me it felt like forever.
