I had known Steve since we were kids. My mother and his worked very close together and so we spent a lot of our time together. And after awhile it didn't take me long to fall in love with him, but of course he loved Peggy and so I never told him how I felt.

When Steve crashed the plane I was with him and so we both ended up being frozen for a couple years. It wasn't long before we woke up and joined the Avengers and then we found Bucky, who at the moment I regret finding.

"Bucky, I am not going to tell him I love him." I said angrily.

"Come on! You both have been pinning over each other since we were kids!" He exclaimed as he threw his hands up.

"It's not going to happen, so back off." I said calmly.

"If I have to get a boom box and play kiss the girl around both of you, I will." Bucky said calmly.

"I'd love to see you try." I said as I turned and walked away from him.

I knew better, I knew not to challenge Bucky and yet I did.

"We have a mission." Steve said as he walked into the briefing

"Bucky!" I snapped as I turned and glared at him.

He turned it off and held his hands up. I rolled my eyes and we got ready for the mission. I climbed into the jet and tripped over my own feet. A pair of hands grabbed me and I looked up to see Steve.

"You okay?" He asked softly.

"Yea, thanks." I said as I sent him a smile.

I looked behind Steve to see Nat holding her phone up.

"Seriously?" I asked with a frown.

"Bucky made me do it."

I rolled my eyes and went and set down. Soon I heard the song start back on over the loud speaker.

"I hate all of you." I said as I glared at the team.

The mission went off without a hitch and we made our way home. I smiled as I changed into one of Steve's over sized shirts. I heard a knock on my door and walked over to it. I opened the door and smiled as I saw Steve.

"Hey what's up?" I asked softly.

"So want to tell me what's going on with Buck and the team?" He asked with a laugh.

"They are trying to set us up." I said as I shook my head.

"Oh, I... why would they try to do that?" He asked as he cleared his throat.

"Don't know, they are crazy." I said as I looked at my hands.

"Totally." He said as he rubbed the back of his head.

I went to tackle Bucky but an arm stopped me. Before I could register what was going on, I was spun around. My eyes soon went wide as I came face to face with Steve.

Right as the song ended Steve pressed his lips to mine. I let out a gasp as he pulled me closer. When I didn't kiss back he pulled away.

"I'm sorry, I should of-"

I quickly grabbed a hold of his cheeks and pulled him into another kiss. He let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
