Shorts where my favorite thing to wear, but I had little to no choice but to not wear them. Especially when my soulmate mark was on my ass.

"I bet he slaps your ass." My best friend said with a laugh.

"Anyone does that and they better expect for me to smack them on the face." I said sternly.

"But what if he is hot?"

"I'm still smacking him." I said sternly.

"What if I did it?"

"I'll kick your ass."

She let out a laugh and I shook my head. My phone went off and I saw a message from my boss, Tony Stark.

"I have to go, asshole wants me to come in." I said with a groan.

"Good luck."

I arrived at the avengers tower and made it inside.

"I need you to clean up this room and get some clothes all in this size." He said as he handed me a paper.

"Sure thing." I said as I nodded my head.

I got to work and quickly cleaned the room up. After I was finished I left to pick out some clothes. Thankfully, Nat was there and helped me pick out what this person was comfortable wearing. After I was finished I decided to put their stuff away.

I was fixing their book shelf when I heard the door open.

"Need some help?" A voice asked.

I turned my head and saw a extremely hot man in the doorway.

"Actually yes, could you help me down?" I asked softly.

"Sure." He said as he walked over to me.

I went to step down one step but ended up falling backwards. Before I could fully fall he reached up and grabbed a hold on my waist, with both of his hands.

"I swear I'm not meaning to grab you ass." He said as he steadied me.

"Sure you aren't." I said as I turned in his embrace.

I climbed down and placed my hands on his shoulder. I felt him stiffen up as he helped me down.

"Thanks." I said as I moved my hands away.

I get a small burn in my hands and looked down at them. My eyes went wide as I saw that my hands were black. I quickly looked up at him and saw a blush on his face.

"I guess that explains why there is only one hand print on my ass." I said as I cleared my throat.

He let out a laugh and shook his head.

"Guess that explains why you touch my shoulder... you're clumsy." He said with a chuckle.

"I'm not that clumsy." I said as I looked away from him.

"Sure you aren't."

"Um... I'm (Y/n)." I said with a smile.

"Bucky Barnes." He said as he held his hand out.

"Nice to finally meet you." I said softly.

"Nice to meet you too." He said as he shook my hand.

"So... we are soulmates." I said with a smile.

"Seems that way... want to get dinner?" He asked calmly.

"I'd love to." I said softly.

"(Y/n)! Are you finished yet!" Tony yelled.

"Yea! And she's going out with me! So you can kiss my ass!" Bucky yelled.

"What! Why would she date you!"

"Cause I'm her soulmate!"

I let out a laugh and saw a smirk on Bucky's face.

"I hate to ask, but.... is it okay if I kiss you?" He asked calmly.

"Perfectly fine."

He sent me a smile and leaned down and captured my lips with his. I let out a sigh and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
