The weekend.

Esme, Carlisle and Kimberly were packed up ready to go, Kimberly hugged her siblings goodbye as Emmett drove them to the airport.
The flight didn't take long to get there, when they reached the island, Kimberly was so excited that she neglected the bags and ran inside.
Kim: woahh... daddy, this is so beautiful. I can see why mommy loves you so much
Carlisle: Kimberly your mother didn't marry me because I get her things, you know that
Kimberly: I know daddy I was just kidding
The three of them settle down and relax on Esme island.
Kimberly was going through her bag to check to see what Alice had packed for her and she looked confused to see some pads.
Kim: um... mom why did Alice packed me tampon
Esme: in case you have your period while we are here
Kim: oh...
Esme: honey... there's nothing to be ashamed about. You had your period since you were 12
Kim: MOM! *blush* do we have to talk about my body changing in front of dad! *whispers* you know how sensitive he is about this subject
Carlisle: hey... I heard that, and you know I'm a doctor and I deal with these type of subject all the time
Kim: not when it comes to your daughter
Esme: she's not wrong Carlisle
Carlisle: alright, enough with this
Both of them giggled knowing they're right and Carlisle said.
Carlisle: now that we are settled, how about we go have some family fun
Kim: yay!!!
So the three of them head out together when the sun was down and had some family fun.

When the family was out shopping for survivors Kim said.

Kim: mom, do you think the boys will like this. It's so easy picking stuff out for Alice, Bella and Rosalie but it's so hard to pick out something for the boys
Esme: the boys will love it, if not I will forced them to wear it
Kim: *giggles* okay *bumps into someone* oh sorry
???: it's okay *looks up into her eyes* wow... You have the most beautiful eyes
Kim: *blush* thanks, are you from around here?
???: nah I'm here on vacation, my name is Kai
Esme: nice to meet you Kai are your parent's around
Kai: I came on my own, my parents are on a business trip
Kim: oh these are my parents Esme and Carlisle, my dad own this island he bought for mom for their anniversary
Kai: your island is beautiful
Carlisle: thanks
Kai: hey I was wondering, what's your name?
Kim: oh it's Kimberly but my friends calls me Kim
Kai: welcome Kim, is it okay if I show her around?
Carlisle/Esme: no/yes

Both Carlisle and Esme looked at each other.
Esme: what do you mean no?
Carlisle: are you really going to trust our daughter with a stranger who doesn't live here
Kai: sir I come here to Esme island all the time, your daughter will be in good hands
Kim: yeah dad, plus you can call or text me anytime I have my phone on me. Pleaseeeeeee
Carlisle: alright, call me if you're in trouble
Kim: I will *kiss both and Carlisle and Esme on the cheek* love you

Both Carlisle and Esme walked away from them.

Kai: so where do you want to look?
Kim: well I never been here before
Kai: you never been to your parents island?
Kim: not this is my first time
Kai: well... you're in for a treat then

At the end of the tour the sun was going down and the two were at the beach hanging out.

Kim: I had a great time today Kai
Kai: meet too? How long will you be here for?
Kim: just this weekend, I have school Monday
Kai: ah
Kim: what time is it?
Kai: almost 7 why?
Kim: my parents are going to kill me. *gets up and wipes sand off of her* I was supposed to be back an hour ago
Kai: come on I'll take you

Kim checked her missed calls as they were on their way back to the motel.

Kim: ugh, they're going to kill me
Kai: don't worry I will explain everything

When they made it to the motel, they both ran inside and Kim went to knock but the door flew open.

Kim: dad, I'm so sorry I'm late
Carlisle: I thought you promise me you would called and text
Kai: I'm sorry sir we lost track of time
Carlisle: I knew her going out with you was a bad idea to begin with
Kim: but dad-
Carlisle: no buts Kimberly, get inside, you're grounded
Kai: sir it's not her fault
Carlisle: I don't care, she made a promise to me if I let her go with you she would answer my calls and text and she didn't
Kim: but dad we really did lose track of time
Carlisle: get in the room Kimberly, I will deal with you later

Kim sighs and looks at Kai and then her father before entering the motel.

Carlisle: Kai, I don't know who you're so I don't know what your tensions were with my daughter. My daughter has rules she needs to follow and if she doesn't follow a certain rule she gets punished for it
Kai: I understand that sir, but it wasn't her fault
Carlisle: she knows better when to answer her phone when I call her that is indeed her fault. Kimberly has a mind of her own she knows exactly what she was doing when she decided not to contact me back
Kai: but sir-
Carlisle: I don't want to here it, you're not allowed near my daughter again, now go

Kai sigh and look at Kimberly who was watching inside before leaving.

Kim: dad you didn't even give him a chance to explain
Carlisle: I don't care Kimberly, I'm more worried why you have been ignoring my calls
Kim: I know I shouldn't have ignore your calls dad but you kept calling me constantly and it got to the point where it really got annoying
Carlisle: honey you won't understand what's it's like to leave your daughter with a total stranger until it happens to your kid. Then it comes to find out she's been ignoring my calls and text. Give me your phone
Kim: *pulls phone away* mom!
Esme: hand it over Kimberly
Kim: I can't believe you're siding with dad
Esme: I'm not siding with anyone Kimberly. Your dad isn't the only parent who was worried. Remember I was the one that convinced your father to let you go in the first place
Kim: mama please
Carlisle: little girl if you don't do as we say I will get my belt

Kim sighs and gives him the phone before huffing and going to her room slamming.

Kim: but Rose can't you talk to them, yeah I know I made them worry but-  I guess I never thought about that. How's my trip? Beside the trouble I got into, it's actually been fun, I'm learning a lot about Esme's island- come in *sees Esme* gotta go Rose, mom just walked in. Tell everyone back home I miss them *hangs up* what
Esme: honey, I know you're upset with your father but don't take it out on me
Kim: *roll eyes* whatever why don't you go back to dad and take his side like you always do

Kim was laying over her mom's lap wincing from the smack from her mom's hand as it came down on her butt hard.

Esme: I understand you're upset with your father but you do not talk to me in that tone young lady, understand me?
Kim: yes mama, ow! Okay! Okay!  Mama I'm sorry! Ow! Mama stop that hurts! Daddddyyyy!!!!
Carlisle: *comes in* what is going on here?
Esme: *smack her daughter bottom* your daughter decided to mouth off to me so I decided to warm her bottom
Kim: *whinning* daddy make her stooopppppp
Esme: *smacking her bottom* you have not learned your lesson. I won't stop until you do
Carlisle: well alright then
Kim: dadddyyyy
Carlisle: you're just lucky your mother beat me to it before I could. I also had it with your attitude Kimberly
Kim: *huff and cross arm* ow!
