Part 15:

Kim comes into the school after moving past her family. She notices everyone staring at her as she walks in and Alice comes up behind her and she says to them.

Kim: *whispers to Alice* why is everybody staring at you?

Alice: not me you

Kim: why?!

Alice: Someone's been telling people that you stood up Ryan for his date

Kim: oh great, I forgot to call and cancel!

Alice: want me to tell him you were grounded and not allowed to leave the house

Kim: that's not a complete lie, it is true

Alice: yeah if you hadn't sneaked around to see that dog you wouldn't be in trouble.

Kim: he's not a dog Alice, he's my friend and if you don't mind I would like to talk to Ryan myself

Alice: alright

Kim: do you think Ryan will forgive me?

Alice: hey from what I'm looking at, you need to get the whole school to forgive you because someone has been spreading rumors about what you did to him. I gotta go I have to invite more humans that are seniors to the grad party that we're throwing at our place.

Kim: okay, I'm just glad that school is almost over and I don't have to worry about this anymore.

Alice: okay see you after school kiddo. Good luck with Ryan!

Kim: what do you mean?

Alice: Rumor has it that he's back with his ex Myra

Kim: *disappointed* oh... is there a chance that he will forgive me.

Alice: he'll understand, just don't let Myra irritate you that much, she kind of...

Kim: hate me I know, thanks for the warning Alice

Alice gave her sister a hug and Kim took a deep breath before looking for Ryan.

Kim finds Ryan in the place where he and his band rehearse, she hears music and follows it.

When Ryan told the band to stop singing when he saw Kim, they all looked over at Kim.

Kim stops to see, everyone stares at her. She felt uncomfortable, Ryan removed his guitar and told his friend to take a break before walking over to her.

Ryan: Kim before you get pissed off at me, I didn't spread those nasty rumors about you

Kim: I know it was Myra, so... I heard the two of you are back together huh

Ryan: yeah it sort of just happened this weekend, after you stood me up

Kim: Ryan I'm sorry... I knew I should have called but I was grounded and couldn't come-

Ryan: hey it's okay you don't have to make up some lame excuse

Kim: but I'm telling you the truth-

Ryan: and it's okay Kim. I'm going out with Myra and you're going out with that guy on the Res.

Kim: You mean Jake? He's just a friend

Ryan: That's not what I saw when I saw you two hanging out together in La Push. I sometimes go down there occasionally with friends you know

Kim: was Myra their too

Ryan: why do you always care about what's going on between me and Myra, Kim?

Kim: because you say you guys are over when you're clearly not. It's pretty obvious you guys still like each other if you get a second go

Ryan: Kim, let me ask you a question? Do you love me?

Kim: of course I like you Ryan, what's the matter with you?

Ryan: Kim you're not hearing me, do you love me?

Kim: I actually don't know how I'm feeling right now

Ryan: do you like Jacob?

Kim: of course I like Jacob, Ryan he's my best friend

Ryan: you're not listening to me Kim, do you "like" Jacob?

Kim: (sighs) yes I always have since the day we met

Ryan: and that's exactly how I felt with you until you broke my heart after I found you hanging out with another guy when we were supposed to be going on a date

Kim: Ryan Im-

Ryan: I'm sorry Kim, I just can't forgive you right now (walks away)

Kim just stood there frozen in her spot

At Lunch.

Sadie was out sick today and Kim didn't want to sit alone so she decided to sit with her family.

Kim: (walks up to her family with tray of food) can I sit down with you guys?

Bella: sure (Bella's friends) you guys won't mind right

Bella's friend: not at all

Kim: thanks (sits beside Alice)

Bella: but why aren't you hanging out with your friends today?

Kim: Sadie is sick today, and Henry is well avoiding the cafeteria because a bunch of bullies are picking on him on the bus. He's hiding out in the nurse for lunch today

Alice: (puts one arm around Kim and rubs shoulder) is everything okay between you and Ryan

Kim: (lays head on her chest) no, he's still mad at me for standing him up

Alice: (combs her sister bangs) I'm sorry sweetie, I know how much you liked him

Kim: (sighs and mumbles) yeah he did too

Kim mumbled what met to herself but it was a little low to human ears but her siblings definitely heard her.
