Part 3

That night the two of them spent the evening discussing their new situation, they made a list of pros and cons about the scenario at hand and thought of all the things that they could do to make this transition as easy as possible.

One of the major topics that stood out to them was how they were actually going to conceive the baby. Nathan didn't want to make Y/N uncomfortable so he wanted her to be the one to decide- They figured sex would be the easiest way so that was the final choice.

From there they talked about moving in with one another and who they wanted to tell. There was a bit of confusion between the both of them. Nathan wanted the whole world to know that he was having a family, but Y/N wasn't ready for that yet. She was okay with their families and close friends being aware of the situation, but her fear of tabloids and false tales was keeping her from letting nate just run wild and tell whoever he wanted.

"If we say anything now its going to look extremely bad- not only on your career, but on my own as well- we'll be labled as irresponsible and while you might not be treated that badly, I will take the brunt, because in a relationship if something ever happens they always question the woman first." she spoke sadly.

Nathan agreed with her, as much as he wanted to broadcast his newfound relationship and joy to the world, he knew that he couldn't throw Y/N to the wolves. "We'll keep it quiet okay? I'll protect you- I promise." he gave her hand a squeeze.

Smiling softly, Y/N looked up at her new boyfriend with brightness in her eyes. "So how exactly do you want to do this?" she asked.

The man thought about it for a moment. "Well... If we're really going for the white picket fence lifestyle, I think we should get married... It can be at city hall or an actual wedding if you want- but I think that should be the first thing we handle." he admitted.

Y/N hummed. "Lets move my stuff in here before he go get married- It only makes sense to do the small things first, even if the big things are coming right after." she mentioned.

Nathan nodded. That was a good idea. If she moved her stuff in then he could see her more often and they could get used to living underfoot of one another sooner.

"Then we can make a baby?" he asked.

The woman giggled softly. She supposed that would be the next step. "Sure- we can think of it was christening the marriage." she winked at him.

Grinning eagerly, Nathan couldn't contain the excitement that was brewing in his stomach. "You're happy were doing this?" he asked seriously, watching as she started to pack her things up so she could head home for the night.

As he helped her with her coat, Y/N nodded. "I am- Im really excited... It's strange no doubt, but I don't know- I just feel like this is exactly what the both of us need." she told him.

Nathan grinned, leaning down and pressing a short and sweet kiss against her lips. "I'm glad... drive safe okay?" he hummed, feeling the girl press her lips back to his.

The taste of his lips was soft and gentle mixed with the smokey bourbon and merlot he had been consuming that night- it was every bit as dangerous as it was enticing.

Pulling away, Y/N grinned happily. "I will... I love you Nate." she told him, taking his hand and kissing his knuckles. As she walked out nathan called after her gently.

"I love you too."

Its been a little weird to say the least, the last few weeks had been hard to get used to. Nathan had suddenly cut off a lot of his usual plans, many of which included angela. The last few weeks seemed to race by in a blur- but unlike his previous routine, Nathan was able to pin point exactly what he did at every second of the day, while still enjoying it.

Y/N had moved the majority of her stuff in now and paid off the last month's rent at her apartment- She would be officially staying at Nathan's place from now on and the rest of her things that she didn't need or didn't want were being given out to friends and family, or thrown in a dumpster. Anything else that she wanted to keep Nathan suggested they put in a storage locker for future use.

Since the two of them had gotten together, it was hard to keep their hands to themselves. Y/N would have loved to say that she and Nathan were a bit more mature, but suddenly the two of them calling each other fiance meant that they were sexual fiends.

She had never felt pure passion and excitement like this, she was elated at the fact that her life had seemingly fallen into place. The routine was growing steadily and she could already tell that she was in love.

Her shifts at work had become slightly more spaced out as she asked for some time off, between running back and forth to her place and nathans to move things to finally moving in with her fiance, it was pretty hectic. So at the end of the day she really didn't want to do anything other than relax. And luckily for her, Nathan knew the exact way to destress her.

It had only occurred to Y/N just how fast things were progressing when she was at work one day, suddenly rushing to the bathroom at lunch and hurling out the contents of her stomach- she had never gotten sick at work- not from seeing less than pleasant injuries to even eating the terrible cafeteria food.

While people would usually be concerned that they wre throwing up, Y/N became hopeful. That night on the way home from work- she grabbed a pregnancy test at the grocery store's pharmacy and called Nate.

He had originally told her that he planned on going out for drinks after the game and she was welcome to come- that was still the plan, although instead of meeting her at the bar- Y/N wanted him to come home.

So as he stood in the kitchen waiting for her to arrive, confusion grew in his stomach. Was she second guessing their decision? He was praying to god that she wasn't. But as she bounded into the house with a burning smile, he couldn't stop himself from smiling back.

"Whats going on?" he asked.

Y/N grinned. "I think I might be pregnant." she told him.

Nathan felt like the wind had been knocked out of him- but in the best way possible. He ran towards her and hugged her tight- slamming her lips against hers and kissing her deeply. "Really?" he asked.

The woman nodded eagerly. "I got sick at lunch today which you know never happens- and then i checked my calendar on my phone and I'm late... I missed my period two weeks ago." she told him.

They hadn't been using protection during this entire escapade of them being together- I mean why would they, they wanted a baby. "I bought a test on the way home- I wanted you here while i took it." she told him.

So that was exactly what they did. After changing her clothes, Y/N went into the bathroom- nathan watching her curiously- she wasn't the type to get bashful about him seeing her in the washroom- hell, if they were going to have a baby together, he might as well get used to seeing her in compromising positions.

She peed in a cup and opened several pregnancy tests, a few from each brand just to be sure. After saturating them and setting them out to process. Y/N washed her hands and walked towards nate- the timer on her phone started.

Nathan held onto her tightly as the woman pressed her face into his chest. Mumbling about how she was wishing they were going to be pregnant.

When the alarm on her phone finally went off. Y/N gulped- looking at nathan expectantly. "Cna you tell me? I'm too nervous." she admitted.

The man nodded. Kissing her lips gently. "Of course." he walked towards the bath tub where they had lined up all the tests. As he read them, Y/N watched anxiously- his back turned towards her so she couldn't see his expression.

He turned ever so cautiously and Y/N felt like her stomach had crawled into her throat.

"We're gonna have a baby." he whispered.

Y/N screamed in excitement, rushing forward and hugging him with all her might. She pulled away soon after and kissed him desperately- She had never felt so much love and Joy in her life. Looking down at the tests, her excitement was unrestricted. Five out of Five tests were positive.

She was definitely pregnant.
