The 10th Chapter

Mr Cheese woke up and felt someone's hands around him. He looked over his shoulder and was surprised to see TheGentleman holding him close. He blushed. "T-TheGentleman!"

This woke the black crewmate, who yawned before realising what he was doing. "Mr Cheese?" He gasped and let go, backing away. "I-I'm sorry, my good friend. I didn't know what came over me." Thankfully no one else was awake. TheGentleman stood up. "I think I'm going to go for a stroll around the ship. You stay here and wait for the others to wake up." Then he left via the corridor to weapons.

Mr Cheese smiled. "Looks like he loves me the same way I love him."

Then he heard stirring and noticed Player waking up. "Ugh...what time is it?" The red crewmate sat up and looked around. "Oh yeah, we're still on the Skeld. I forgot about that..."

"Hey, Player," said Mr Cheese, sitting at the table.

"Morning Mr Cheese," yawned Player, stretching. "Where's TheGentleman?"

"He went for a walk."

"Oh." Player and Mr Cheese sat in silence. There wasn't much to talk about, since they'd never actually had a normal conversation before. "So...how've you been?"

"Pretty good."

Cue a very awkward silence. Neither of them knew what to say to eachother. Usually Mr Cheese would either be gloating or saying 'my name Mr Cheese' (which never gets old) but this was a serious time.

"I think I'll go see if the girls are awake," said Player, standing up to leave.

"Wait Player!" Said Mr Cheese suddenly, surprising Player.

"What is it?"

"There's something I want to ask you," said Mr Cheese. Player sat down.

"Go on."

"Well, it's kinda complicated..." said Mr Cheese quietly. "I don't know how to say it, but...I'm in love with TheGentleman!"

Player stared blankly. "Yeah, I know."

"Wait, you do?" This surprised Mr Cheese, who was quite oblivious to the fact that he wasn't very good at hiding his feelings towards the black crewmate. He wasn't exactly the smartest tool in the shed...

"Mr Cheese, ever since episode 6 you've been giving hints that you have a crush on him, and he obviously loves you back."

"He does?" gasped Mr Cheese, blushing.

"Wow, I knew you were kinda dumb but I didn't realise you were that much of a mor-" Player stopped himself, realising now wasn't the time for those sort of remarks. "I'm sorry Mr Cheese."

"It's fine Player," replied Mr Cheese. "I just...can't believe that my crush actually likes me! All this time I thought he would rather go out with Mr Egg or Mother!"

"I think you two look perfect together," said Player, kindly.

"Awe, you think so?"

"Yeah, of course you do. You guys are almost always together!" Player had numerous flashbacks, including the time he first met TheGentleman and Mr Cheese, the time they were in the lobby on halloween, the time he saw the two chasing eachother with towels and much more.

"Thanks, Player."

Little did they know, TheGentleman had heard everything.

"My goodness, he really likes me that much..." he whispered.
