Summery/Plot: With how the anime is set up there are multiple focus of characters starting with; Mikado, Masaomi, and Anri in grope 1, Shizuo and Izaya (remember these guys) in grupe 2, Celty and Shinra in grupe 3, Kyohei, Walker, Erika, and Saburo make team 4, lastly Simon who is kind of a team in himself. There are a few other groups but those are the ones that are important. The plot can be kind of over whelming at first especially with all the characters and trying to keep names strait, but keep with it and I promise it gets easier. It takes place in Ikebukuro Japan, a lively city with a lot going on. There are story's of a headless rider, color gangs on the lose, and people you should absolutely NOT piss off. What will happen when a high school boy is thrown in the middle of this..... I suggest watching to find out.
My opinion- The reason I like this anime so much I mostly because it takes place in a modern city yet it still has a mythical element to it. The characters and plot are fantastic, besides being slightly confusing I seriously cant find anything wrong with this anime and don't worry it only gets more confusing in season two.The characters are also all unforgettable and there is hardly a slow moment in this anime. It can easily land a spot in my top 10's list.
