Summery/Plot: This anime is about a young man named Light Yagami who is your average high school student up until the day he came in contact with a death note. A death note is a small black not book that has the power to kill anyone in the worled, all you need is a name and the face of the target. Light seizing the opportunity took the note book and decides to kill all the criminals, creating a world with no evil in it. Him, his shimigami Ryuk and his crazy "not so" girlfriend Misa set out to make Light the god of this new world and rule over it to make it perfect. The only problem is that not everyone is ok with Lights point of veiw and are scared of his power, so they want to take him down, only they have no idea who he is. So they dub the masked murderer ,Kira, and get the worlds smartest detective "Sherlock Holmes" JK, they get L Lawliet to find him. Who will win Light or L?
My opinion- If you like a battle of wits, then you'll really like this one. This anime "besides a lot of killing" has a lot of philosophy in it, the whole bases of this anime is about two forces both not good and both not bad ether colliding in a race to come out on top.
