"Ughh why wont Sara answer any of my calls or texts is she dead?" Joe was sitting on the couch with a 8 piece chicken nugget meal from McDonald's. Joe kept on texting and trying to call Sara. His mom overheard him talking about how Sara wouldn't answer.
"Well you should stop by and visit her. She gave you an extra key, right? Or maybe she's busy." His mom had a basket of laundry in hand and gave him a shirt and pants because Joe was still in his pajamas.
"Yeah, I should. Thanks mom!" Joe smiled at his mother and she gave a warm smile back.
"You guys never spend a single day without each other. It's like you guys are a couple. You breathe the same air 24/7." Joe's dad stood in the entrance and complained. Joe's face went red and his mother had a confused look on her face.
"Wait they're not dating? I thought they were." Joe's mom responded. Joe's face got even more red.
"Nope, I don't know maybe they just hookup with each other." Joe's face was like a tomato now.
"Wait, a hookup?! He's only in high school though!" His mom had a face of concern and looked at Joe.
"Maybe Joe is a player. There's Ryoko too maybe somethings happening with them too. Joe might just be into that." His dad walked into the living room and looked at Joe's mom.
"No way! Joe is a good boy! He'd never do anything like that!" Joe's mother put the basket down trying to refute what Joe's dad was saying.
"It's not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone needs experience." His dad said.
"Well maybe one time is fine but-" His mother was about to say it's fine the first time but to be cut off by Joe.
"JEEZ!! Stop talking like I'm not here. Nothing is going on between Ryoko and I! I don't do that kind of stuff anyways!" Joe got up and he was embarrassed and frustrated. He was about to leave to go change but his dad said one more thing.
"You didn't say that nothing was going on between you and Sara. Trying to tell us something?" His dad teased him. Just as Joe was about to calm down he got red again.
"NOTHING IS HAPPENING BETWEEN ME AND SARA YOU GUYS ARE SO EMBARRASSING!" Joe yelled while running upstairs. He could hear his father laugh from downstairs
Joe got dressed and sent Sara one final text.
