Not funny didn't laugh

Joe's POV:

It's a Saturday and I'm chilling with my girlfriend Sara, and my friend Ryoko. We're having a slumber party at my house. We were just playing Mario Kart 8 and I won every time which led to Sara and Ryoko beating me up. Now we're all just doing our separate things on the couch. Sara was redoing her ponytail, Ryoko was texting her girlfriend, and I'm just watching TikToks.

"Ughh my hair takes forever to dooo." My girlfriend Sara complained.

"Then just leave it down or don't do it all fancy." I said then taking the braid out of Sara's hair which led to a death glare from her.

"Do you want to die?" Sara said in a cold voice.

"heehee" I hear Ryoko giggling.

"Whatcha looking at Ryoko?" Joe turned to Ryoko and Sara gave up on giving me a death glare and looked at Ryoko as well.

"Oh it's nothing, my girlfriend Kugie just sent me a funny TikTok that's all." Ryoko showed us the TikTok and me and Sara started laughing.

"Heh, at least the person you're dating sends you funny TikToks. Can't relate." Sara said in a snarky voice.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'Can't relate" I SEND YOU THE FUNNIEST TIKTOKS!" I yelled, if she's telling the truth my confidence will plummet, and I'm never going to show Sara anything again.

"Listen I just don't find someone saying "beans" and then a picture of beans funny. Seriously someone just saying one word isn't funny." Sara scrolled up to the TikTok I sent her and pointed to it.

"Well fine I'll make you laugh with two words!" I said ready for the attack.

"You wont make me laugh." Sara said then turned off her phone.

"Traffic cone" I said in a very confident tone.

"Welll I think I need to go to the bathroom, I'll be back good luck Joe!" Ryoko panicked and ran. Great she abandoned me. Now Sara's going to kill me in my sleep. Or she'll bash my skull in with a traffic cone.

"I think something urgent just came up, I need to leave." Sara got up and walked to the front door. I know it's a joke she's going to open the door and close it. Then she's going to come back and beat me up.

Did she just actually leave? No way, she must be waiting outside the door. Yeah she wouldn't leave just because of a joke.

"Where's Sara? Did she break up with you and leave? Honestly, understandable." Ryoko said to me and got on the couch.

"Nope, she just went out the front door. But I know she wants me to think she left but I know she's just waiting outside the door." I'm 99% sure she's doing that. I lean back and stretch. Then I feel a very hurtful pinch on my leg.

"OUCH RYOKO WHY ARE YOU PINCHING ME?!" I screamed then Ryoko got up and opened the front door. Sara wasn't there.

"E h?" was all I could let out.

"Idiot, you think Sara wouldn't leave. Anyways sorry but I need to go Kugie needs me and it's my job as her girlfriend to fufill her desires!" Ryoko said proudly and picked up her backpack then left. Great now I'm alone. I should call Sara.

"Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system. The number you tried to call is not available. At the tone, please record your message. When you finished recording, you may hang up or press 1 for more options."

*BEEP*

"Jeez Sara, didn't know the joke got to you that much. Sorry bout that, but can you please come back I'm lonely without you. Love you."  I sent the voice mail. Usually I'd just spam call her but if she's mad right now I don't want to make her any more angrier.
