HEARST HIGH — THE SEQUEL
CHAPTER FIVE
'FAN-GIRL.'
...
It was a long journey to Hearst and miraculously I slept through most of it despite China's singing and her constant bickering with Louis. She'd managed to scrape money together to book an apartment for a week, but I assumed it was possible since she was very well-off. We arrived at the apartment with wasn't actually too far from Hearst High itself. It was fairly modern and looked neat and tidy. It was very large, with a fair sized kitchen and living area and three small bedrooms and two bathrooms accompanying it.
"Well, I am starved." China admitted with a sigh. "Do you know any good restaurants around here, Sadie?"
"Well it's not exactly a restaurant, more kind of a cafe but you can still grab a bite to eat." I replied.
"Lead the way."

We soon arrived at my favourite coffee shop and the pair of best friends commented on how cozy it was in there but then complained about being hungry, those two were never satisfied. We found our way to a table that managed to seat all three of us.
"Is there a waiter that's gonna take our order?" Louis commented, raising a brow.
"Yes... you just have to be patience. I know that's incredibly hard for you, Mr Partridge." I rolled my eyes with a chuckle. Then, Jenna caught sight of me and headed to our table. "Jenna! Hey! Louis, China, this is Jenna we used to go to college together."
"Hello..." the brunette greeted my best friends and it was obvious she was nervous. China greeted her back with a friendly tone but Louis just told her his order. "I'll get that right away... and you two?" China and I ordered our drinks and food and she sped off behind the counter.
"You know you could've said hi back, instead of just ordering straight away." I scolded Louis.
"She's a waitress, I'm gonna order if she comes up to me." he said with a shrug. "Plus, I'm clearly not her best friend like you are." the brunette continued. Then I felt the need to explain that Jenna and I were certainly not best friends and told him about the drama that occurred a couple of years ago, however, I was over it and very willing to move past it. "Wow, what a bitch... see that's where bullying gets you, Sadie, working in a coffee shop for—"
"O.M.G."
China fully caught Louis and I off guard as she became a fan-girl, then it dawned on me that she had one hundred percent seen Finn. Sure enough, he had come in here accompanied by his father, Chloe and... Noah? I held back my gasp as my eyes lay upon him.
"Sadie?" Noah gasped.
"Noah!" I stood up and he moved towards me. The brunette wrapped in a tight hug. "Fancy seeing you here!"
"Right! I never thought I'd see you in this place again." Noah replied with a chuckle. It was sweetly ironic how we bumped into each other years later at the same location we met when we were younger. "You look amazing... and are these your friends?"
"Indeed they are, this is China," I gestured to my dark-haired, female friend who was beaming with joy as her eyes layer upon him. "And this is Louis." I moved my hand to the boy's shoulder and he gave a slight smile to Noah before looking away.
"Noah Schnapp..." China stood up, excited as hell and I threw my face into my palms. "I am like your biggest fan, could we like... take a photo?" Noah laughed at the girl's excitement which gave me a little more relief to know that he didn't think she was an absolute weirdo, and then he agreed to the photo. The rest of the Wolfhards gathered around the table, including Finn, but he didn't say but or even make eye contact with me. "Oh my... Finn Wolfhard! Sadie has told me so much about you, she really admired you."
"What? China! Shut up." I creased.
This was so embarrassing.
