HEARST HIGH - THE SEQUEL

CHAPTER TWO

'WOLFHARD JUNIOR.'

...

I drove my car slowly around the town, there were faces just about everywhere — some I recognised, most I didn't. However, I soon found myself at the most familiar place of all, the place is all started.

Hearst High.

I got out of my car and smiled at the sign that read, 'WELCOME TO HEARST HIGH' in bold writing, exactly how I remembered it. I gazed at the school and it pretty much had remained the same apart from a few paint jobs here and there. Hearst High was the source of drama.

"Sadie Sink?" I got startled as I heard my name being called for the second time today, I was honestly having to start getting used to people calling my name out in surprise. As I turned, I made bets in my head as to who it could be, maybe one of my old teachers? It sounded like a female voice.

My eyes then met a familiar face and glossy, white smile that belonged to Chloe, Finn's younger sister. Her hair was a more ginger tone now rather than her traditional blonde locks. "Wolfhard Junior! Look at you!" I gasped in excited, moving towards her and wrapping her in a hug. She looked much older from when I saw her last, she must've have been at least 18 or 19 now.

"I know right! Like my hair?" Chloe pointed to her hair and I nodded in response. "I actually go to Hearst High now, and I've just finished."

"Want a ride home?" I offered, noticing that the girl had seemed to not have any of sort of transport. Chloe smiled and took the offer, thanking me profusely.

-

After around a 10 minute drive, we pulled up outside of the Wolfhard's home and I began thinking about Finn, where was he? What was he doing? Would it be worth messaging him? Probably not. Chloe clambered out of my car and waved goodbye but she suddenly stopped in her tracks. She turned to face the driver's side of the car and gestured for me to roll the window down. I did so accordingly.

"You should come inside." the girl suggested with a smile.

"Really? I mean it's okay I don't want to intrude or anything." I shook my hands in defence. Of course the teenager didn't listen and insisted that I come in because her parents adored me, so I ended up reluctantly agreeing.

Chloe lead me through the house and into the kitchen where I caught sight of Finn's father, his beard which was thicker and more grey than I last remembered made him looked slightly older. True to his daughter's word, he did adore me as his face immediately lit up with a smile. "Miss Sadie Sink! How long has it been?" he gasped.

"Far too long, Mr Wolfhard." I joked. "How are you?" Mr Wolfhard began to explain how he was doing good and was thinking about retirement. Then we somehow got onto the topic of Finn; his career in acting was going great but he still resided in London.

"Well, you're here just at the right time, Sadie." he told me. I raised a brow and questioned him on what he meant. "Finn got the first flight out at 4am this morning, meaning he's due home in about an hour!"

"What?"
