The boys had gotten the news of the new mission. It made you fiddle your thumb together as you watched the three twins give you guys onigiri's, which made you get one and eat out of nervousness but tried your best to maintain composed.

It was nerve wracking, even if you told them about the manga and all that, it just didn't make you feel right to not say what was going to happen next.

Looking down at the floor with wide eyes, you had almost took out the little blade from your ring until you heard Tanjiro exclaim Giyuu's name, making you whip your head up to watch as they both conversed in a conversation. It did soothe you up a bit but other than that you felt like shit.

"Are you alright (y/n)-chan?" Zenitsu asked, worriedly looking at you as you lightly jumped before waving it off, saying it was all an act and you were just wanting to see if he were to react like you were, but you knew it wouldn't work, your heartbeat was the key but he didn't push the subject any further other than just patting your shoulder with a smile on his face. Which made you slightly relax, smiling back before looking towards Tanjiro talking to Giyuu in a one sided conversation.

It had almost made you laugh but you quickly looked back when you felt Giyuu going to stare back at you. You weren't going to have a conversation with that guy considering he.. scary.. not really it would have been extremely awkward.

Whatever the case is, their talk had soon finished and the burgundy haired boy came back, a huge grin on his face making the three of you smile at his form.

"Alright, train time."
"The fuck is a train?"
"..."
"You're hopeless." Zenitsu sighed.
"You guys are all hopeless." You grunted, flopping down hard on the floor as you were merely done with everything at this point. Tanjiro worriedly exclaimed and demanded for you to get up, but you wouldn't comply so that made him have to carry you over his shoulder.

Zenitsu could hear your heartbeat and knew you were doing this on purpose, not wanting to walk.

He mouthed the word "smart", which made you cheekily grin.
