You nervously fidgeted on your seat as the other four did..whatever they did in the Manga, you used the excuse that you were simply tired(not a great one, but your dark circles helped) and so you looked out the window to calm your nerves.

You knew this train was literally the embodiment of the demon, you couldn't remember their name, or if you tried to you could only recognize them by their design to begin with, but this was relaxing..a bit.

What really was on your mind was Muraoka, you had sent continuous letters to her back in the butterfly mansion to tell her if she was okay to come in at any time if you were going to be in danger

She agreed, that was the relieving part. What just scared you was if she was going to get gravely injured and if you were to get caught having a demon on your side..especially since she was an upper moon 0—key word: was.

But then again Akaza probably wouldn't kill a women, considering the demon companion is one to begin with, :laugh:. You sighed once more at the thought, shivers going down your spine once you felt an arm on your shoulder that had you look up at Rengoku who was smiling down at you.

"I'll be sure to protect and make you my apprentice too young one!"
"Way too early but.. yay?" You exclaimed, awkwardly chuckling at his form that laughed with booming volume.

It was then that you six finally sat on a seat, Tanjiro and rengoku being together and Zenitsu with Inosuke on the other side, you sat right in front of Rengoku with Nezuko's box next to you. Continuing to ignore your surroundings, you decided to look to the side of the window and watch the view of it.

You could faintly hear Tanjiro's and Rengoku's conversation about his 'fire breathing' and if the flame hashira knew, making you subconsciously bounce your knee up and down at a rapid pace, wanting for the plot to finally arrive.

But..you only held a laugh when hearing Zenitsu yell at Inosuke, having you cover your mouth with a fist to not let out a sound and interrupt the conversation in front of you.

It continued on, occasionally you tried your best to crack a joke that made you smile, seeing that Rengoku loved the silly jokes you've made, Tanjiro sweatdropped but still chuckled in order to not make you sad.

Anything but make you sad..because he was your friend! Obviously! Nothing more!...oh dear lord he felt himself blush just at the thought of you two holding hands, kissing cheeks, cuddling..oh God he knew he had feelings, he knew but he had to hold them down, he couldn't let this be in the way of you and the job.

He couldn't..yet he oh so dearly wanted that.

Making zenitsu's heart clench a little, hearing the heartbeat of his friend made him be more determined to get you to also like him just as much as he did.
