Goodbye (Ending Two)

Violet sat alone at the grave.

She said nothing, and just sat there.

Morgan walked over.

"You were one of the best." Violet spoke, smiling.

"You never even met him." Morgan declared.

"Well, he raised my girlfriend." Violet replied.

"True." Morgan noted.

"Why the hell didn't you guys wait for me?" Clementine asked, walking over.

"Because, I think you'd want what's about to happen, happen in front of him." Violet replied.

"I'll get everyone." Morgan declared, walking away.

"What do you mean?" Clementine asked, confused.

Violet waited for everyone to come.

"What? What's going on?" Clementine asked.

Everyone was watching now.

"Clementine, I love you." Violet spoke, holding something small in her hand.

"I love you, too. But if you could just tell me what's going on-" Clementine started.

"When I've had doubts about everything, you and AJ crashed that car." Violet spoke, smiling.

"What's this about?" Clementine asked, nervously.

"After I thought I'd lost my chance, you and AJ showed up again. And you came with me to the roof. You opened up to me, and before I could try to kiss you, you kissed me. One of the best things to ever happen to me." Violet continued.

Clementine said nothing.

"You've backed me up on everything. Clementine, the day I first talked to you, I was thinking about committing suicide. But I decided against it, because of you. You make life worth living. Seeing your smile, makes me want to smile, too. I love you, and I want you to remember that, forever." Violet continued, revealing the ring in her hand.

Clementine's eyes widened.

"Will you marry me?" Violet asked, getting down on one knee.

Clementine smiled.

"Yes." Clementine replied, tearing up.

"And I know all the shit that happens at weddings." Rose declared, revealing the book she had been reading from for the last few months.

Everyone smiled and applauded.

"Well, we're definitely staying." Javier declared, smiling.

(Author's Note: In Ending One, Clementine had lost too much blood from the showdown in Richmond. And was kept from turning by Violet, after a final kiss. In this ending, Clementine had almost died, but due to Morgan's medical knowledge, and pure fucking luck, Clementine survived. The actual wedding would happen later. On the same day that Violet proposed. Javier and Kate would go on to have a kid. Years later, Violet would get seriously injured, and saved by Clementine. After that, they stayed at the school, as Violet was permanently blinded. AJ would go on to become the leader of the group, after Clementine stepped down).
