An Awkward Day

"Violet, what the shit?!" Yuri asked, shocked.

"Clementine. She's back to normal, but calls herself a psychopathic freak." Violet answered.

"Oh... You want her to see you don't care about her looks?" Yuri asked.

Violet nodded.

Clementine got out of bed, putting her prosthetic on.

"Clem! Clem! Violet wants to show you something!" AJ exclaimed, hugging Clementine.

The two headed out toward the yard.

Clementine looked at Violet, who was covering her face.

"You wanted to show me something?" Clementine asked.

Violet moved her hands, revealing her new permanent smile. It matched Clementine's almost perfectly.

"Violet!" Clementine exclaimed.

Clementine started to tear up.

"Why did you do that to yourself?!" Clementine asked.

"To show you!" Violet declared, in a caring voice.

"Show me what?!" Clementine asked.

"I don't care how you look! How you talk! I don't love your looks, or your voice! I love Clementine! That's who I love!" Violet exclaimed, hugging Clementine.

Louis looked over at them.

He smiled at them.

Clementine cried quietly, as she hugged Violet.

"Anyone inside these gates?" A familiar voice asked.

Yuri grabbed his pistol.

"They fucking followed us!" Yuri whisper yelled.

"You caught us off guard... Clementine, are you in there? If so, why haven't you completed your mission?" The cult leader asked.

"Fuck you! We outnumber you and your fanatics!" Yuri yelled, firing at the cult leader.

He missed.

"Release the Bear." The cult leader ordered.

The back of a military transport truck opened up, as an abnormally large bear charged the gates.

"Everyone, inside!" Clementine yelled.

Clementine readied her rifle.

The gate opened.

Clementine fired her rifle, putting a bullet right between the cult leader's eyes.

The Bear started walking in.

Clementine fired a burst from her rifle.

The Bear fell, dead.

"Kill them!" A cultist yelled.

Clementine was silent during the funeral, as were Violet, and AJ.

After it ended, Yuri didn't speak.

"Yuri, you did what you could-" Clementine started.

"No, I was too slow, and Louis paid for it!" Yuri yelled, angrily.

"Louis isn't dead, just wounded." Violet spoke, softly.

"He got shot, when I could have stopped it!" Yuri exclaimed.

Clementine and Violet searched an old underground military base.

"What do you think we'll find here?" Violet asked, looking around.

"MREs, guns, ammo, clothes." Clementine replied.

Clementine pointed to a barely opened door.

As the girls approached, they heard screaming.
