Do you remember when you heard the birds
Do you remember when it was fun to be in crowds
Do you remember when shouts were of glee
Do you remember the times that you laugh with friends drinking tea
Now those days long gone
Only somber and morbid
Shut houses that once shined like stars
The streets all empty
Except for the odd cat
That lives with some three
Some three of her kittens
So no one's alone
The highways still empty
Compared to before
But before we are reckless
Lets stay home some more
The illness hunts everyone
No status
No wealth
No beauty
No charm
You can't sweet talk illness
It looms very large
Its out there
Oh Yes
But oh dont you remember those wonderful times
It stays up there with you
In your heart
In your brain
Stay safe
Not afraid
One day you'll remember
The good and the bad
The happy and sad
The moments that rocked your world
And made your life a bit more interesting
So never forget those times that made life riveting
