03. park lazy

Every single warm sunshine gently enters jaeyoon's room, accidentally shines over on his eyes. jaeyoon frowns a bit then slowly got awake, he stretches his shoulders and looks at the early morning scene that's in front of his eyes, then he unconsciously smiles. The weather recently is pretty warm and the sky is very clear without a single cloud, which also hyped jaeyoon up for a new day forward.

As jake is busy preparing his breakfast and lunch box so he won't be late for work, someone knocks on the door repeatedly follow with a sleepy voice that jaeyoon could easily recognize that's the voice of park sunghoon, or to be honest, park pervert.
didn't even let jaeyoon to open the door, sunghoon has already entered the house and is sitting at the dinner table. jaeyoon seems confused, since in the contract between him and sunghoon there's no such rules as "eating together".

-what are you doing?

-sorry for disturbing you. I accidentally woke up a bit late than usual so I couldn't prepare breakfast, and i'm almost late for school now, mr shim jaeyoon wouldn't abandon me, right T-T?

-how could you know that for sure? we have only met yesterday, you can't make sure that i'll leave you or not, right?

-awww come on, mr. shim jaeyoon polite and handsome, i know that you would be kind, wouldn't abandon me.

-you're pretty smart-mouthed, but sadly I only make enough food for 1 person, so i'll guess you'll have to go to some convenient store nearby to buy your breakfast, sorry kid.

jaeyoon shrugs happily, he's not the kind of person who would let things slide easily, so everything sunghoon said yesterday still haven't calm down inside him. after saying, he's determined not to hear or reply a single word to sunghoon. jaeyoon curiously looks at sunghoon. and his miserable, innocent face slaps right into jaeyoon's eyes, his eyes is shaking a bit and it seems like he could cry at any moment. Right after that, Jake somehow brought with him two portions of foods to the table without himself knowing why. Seeing that, sunghoon immediately take back his miserable face, he looks at Jake and smiles happily while his eyes is still slightly closes due to the sleepiness he's having.

-mr shim jaeyoon is so gracious, i'd never forget this moment.

-are you not gonna pay me back?

hearing that sunghoon's face turns back to miserable, says sadly as he's chewing the meatballs.
-college students like me are broke af...

but right after his face turns joyful again, his eyes are wide open, stares at jake like he has found a big and brilliant idea.
-a, maybe i'll donate myself to you!

jake puts his chopsticks down, he felt like his eyes was widening looking at sunghoon like a weird creature, the goosebumps kept on appearing though Sunghoon is still happily enjoying the meal. A while later, luckily that sunghoon started a conversation otherwise this awkward silence would literally made jake stop breathing.

-i'm just joking around, don't be so serious haha.

in jaeyoon's head right now is really wanting to say " serious as shit you punk" but his little elegant and polite side deep in him stopped his mouth from saying that, not letting even a single curse word to flew out from his lips.
Jaeyoon take a sip of the tea, smiles "kindly" and looks at Sunghoon.
-no, i'm not so serious 'bout it.

and coincidentally, sunghoon has also finish his meal at the same time, he takes a tissue and gently wipes his lips as he's gliding his mischievous eyes over to jake.
-jake-ssi, did you forget that i'm specialized in psychology?

after asking sunghoon stands up and puts away the dishes in the sink and washes them. He tilts his head gently towards jake and asks.

-right now you're cursing me to dead in your mind but I have just given you a compliment that you're elegant so you're trying to hold your anger back am i correct?

jake got startled, he turns around and looks at sunghoon, he starts thinking that maybe sunghoon has implanted a microchip inside his brain, so that everything single thought or move is read by sunghoon.
sunghoon puts the dishes on the drying rack and quickly walks towards the door, before going, he stops at the door and waves at jake in a very "normal" way as his lips is smiling widely. Before going, he says in hurry.

-you don't need to keep your reputation around me, especially when you're with me, you only need to be yourself. Thanks for the meal, i'm gonna head to school now.

jake looks after sunghoon quickly running upstairs in confusion, he unconsciously smiles and shakes his head impotently. Looking at sunghoon from top to toes, his hair is messed up, his clothes are slovenly, his face looks like he only got 3 hours of sleep last night, and right now he's in a hurry going to find his backpack and stuff, looking at him right at this moment, jake immediately thought of a new nickname for Sunghoon - "park clumsy".
