Aarons POV
I can't believe I just said that. It was in a heated moment of confessions. I hope that he was serious. I could see the nervousness in his face before he told me so I hoped it was genuine. "Ok so this is gonna sound douchey but are you serious? Because I really am." I looked at him trying not to cry. "Yes Aaron I am very serious about this. I wouldn't joke about something like this. I waited this long because I didn't want to ruin our friendship." He looked so scared telling me that. Like I was gonna hit him or something. "Isaiah it wouldn't have changed anything. I promise." I meant what I said. It wouldn't have. I loved Isaiah. It's not like I could ever really be mad at him. He was just so amazing. He made me happy. Happier than ever. "Isaiah I couldn't imagine not being with you. You unfriending me because I'm gay is the scariest thing that could ever happen for me. Well that and my mom finding out." Isaiah looked at me like I was crazy. "You really think I would have unfriended you because you were gay?" He looked so amused by the situation. "Well I don't know. You never really seemed like you supported either." He still just looked at me. "Touché I guess." We both busted out laughing. It was a good moment. Know I was just one step closer to confessing my main feelings for my best friend.

No ones POV
The two walked into 3rd period together sweaty from athletic and tired. They felt closer to each other but both thought it one-sided. Every now and then they would look at each other and make eye contact then they blush. As time went on they started to feel like there was a tiny chance the feelings they had were mutual.

No ones POV
Now they were seniors in high school. By then you would have thought the feelings died down but they only grew stronger. They boys grew closer together and as time went by they felt more attracted to each other than ever. But it was all the same. They still jokingly flirted and never confessed their feelings. "Hey Isaiah can I talk to you after class?" Isaiah looked at him with a sense of confusion. "Yeah sure no problem." He said is so nonchalantly. He didn't know what the conversation would be about. So he didn't worry himself further than he had to.
Isaiah's POV
"Hey Isaiah can I talk to you after class?" I looked at him with a curious look. What could he be trying to tell me? Probably nothing important. Probably that he got a boyfriend of something. I've learned not to get my hopes up with these types of conversations. It hurts but I can't let anything get ruined between us. I just can't.
