It was another exhausting day for Mandy O'Connor. She just wanted to get to the diner and hang out with Mia, but of course her teacher Ms. Michaelson had to be a jerk about it.

Thankfully the school was pretty close to the diner so she could just walk over. Once the bell rang, Mandy grabbed her bags and ran out the door of the classroom and the school. As she ran, her backpack was flopping behind her.

She ran into the diner, leaning against the doorframe. "Mandy!" Mia exclaims, but she holds her finger up. "Remind me to work on my cardio." Mandy says. "You're seven." Mia says an amused look on her face. "Still, remind me though." Mandy says sitting at the counter, leaning her head on her arms.

"Hey Mandy." Dom says walking by and ruffling her hair. "Hey Dom." Mandy says with a small smile on her face. Once he went back into his office, she grabbed her bag and started on her homework. After a few minutes of doing her homework, she heard a familiar engine, this sound made her turn to the outdoors.

"Oh my gosh." Mandy says shocked, once the door to her brother's work truck opened, she pulled her hoodie over her head and continued doing her homework. "Tuna on white, no crust, right?" Mia questions as Brian walks into the diner.

"I don't know. How is it?" Brian questions. "Every day, for the last three weeks, you've come here, asking how the tuna is. Now, it was crappy yesterday. It was crappy the day before. And guess what? It hasn't changed." Mia says almost making Mandy burst out in laughter. "I'll have the tuna." Brian says handing Mia the menu back. "No crust?" Mia questions. "No crust. Thank you." Brian says looking over at the girl with her hoodie up.

He sends her a curious glance, but it was broken once he hears loud engines. Mandy notices Brian curious look on her, but she chooses to ignore it. The group of three walk into the diner. "What's up, guys?" Mia questions. "How you doing, Mia?" Leon questions as he pats the smaller girl's head causing a laugh to escape.

"How you living, girl?" Letty questions as she sends a smile at Mandy. "Hey!" Jesse says happily as he pulls Mandy's hood down. She sends a small glare at him, clearly noticing the look of shock on her brother's face. "Hey, Dom. You want something to drink?" She hears Letty question.

Mandy continues her homework. "Vince!" Mia shouts causing Mandy to jump slightly. "What?" Vince questions from a few stools down. "Can I get you anything?" Mia questions with an annoyed look. "You look good." Vince says, causing Brian to stand up. "Thanks a lot, Mia. See you tomorrow." Brian says placing a few bills on the table.

"Sure." Mia says, a small smile on her face. "Tomorrow?" Vince mutter as Brian leaves. Mandy lowly whistles knowing what was about to go down. "I love this part." Leon says as he stands next to Jesse. "Try Fatburger from now on. Get a Double cheese with fries for $2.95, faggot." Vince says causing Mandy to roll her eyes at her friend's anger issues.

"I like the tuna here." Brian says trying to remain calm. "Bullshit asshole . No one the tuna here." Vince says. "Yeah, well, I do." Brian says causing Vince to push Brian into his car. "Oh, you shouldn't have done that." Mandy winces. She was right, Vince got nailed with a right hook. "Jesus Christ, Dom! Would you get out there? I'm sick of this shit." Mia shouts towards her brother who was sat in the back.

"I'm not kidding, Dom. Get out there!" Mia shouts causing Dom to stand and turn to them. "What did you put in that sandwich?" Dom questions, a smirk on his face. "That's real funny." Mia says aggravated. "Dom!" Letty shouts, motioning her head towards the fight. "All right." Dom says as he and his family go outside. "Stay here chica." Letty says ruffling Mandy's hair.

She watches as her brother and Dom talk, Dom turns about to go back, but Brian says something. Dom then turns and says something causing Brian to stand there dumbfounded. Dom, Letty, Vince, Leon, Jesse, and Mia walk back in. "Don't you have to get home, I bet your parents are worried." Dom says. "Oh, yeah." Mandy says as she waves bye to everyone.

She runs down the street, her bag behind her as her blonde hair flies in the wind. "Please don't be mad." She whispers as she goes to the apartment and opens the door with the spare key. She places her bag on the couch and sits next to it, awaiting her Brother's arrival.

She started dozing off, but when the door opens abruptly she looks towards it. She sees her brother walk in. "Hey Brian." She whispers. Brian walks over and kneels in front of his little sister. "I'm not mad at you." Brian says as she looks down. "Hey, look at me." He says causing Mandy to look up and meet his eyes.

"I'm not mad." He says with a small smile. "You're not?" Mandy questions. "Of course not, they're your friends." Brian says as he hugs his little sister. "Good, cause even if you wanted me too, I wouldn't leave them." Mandy says as her head leans on her brother's shoulder.

"Now, you got any homework squirt?" Brian questions. "Yep." Mandy says as she grabs her bag from next to her and grabs her homework. Brian sits next to her and they both start working on the homework.

After a while, Mandy was fast asleep in her bed. But Brian, he was wide awake and ready for a race. He kissed his sister's head as he grabbed his keys. He walked out of the apartment and down to where his lime green and blue car was.

He went inside of his car and he drove off to where the race was. Once he was there, he heard people talking loudly and bass pumping. "Sweet ride. What you got running under there, man?" A man questions causing Brian to turn to the voice, a smile on his face. "Going to make me find out the hard way?" Hector questions. "Hell, yeah." Brian says, an open mouthed smirk on his face.

"You brave. You brave. They call me Hector. I got a last name, too, but I can't pronounce it." Hector says, a smirk evident on his face. "Brian Spilner." Brian says using his fake name as he shook Hector's hand. "Typical white-boy name. Know what I'm saying?" Hector questions causing Brian to chuckle.

"See that over there? That's mine. My baby. I ain't cutting her loose tonight." Hector says motioning to his car. "Why not?" Brian questions. "I'm going legit, homey. Trying to get on the NIRA circuit. Heard about that?" Hector questions. Brian's smirk broadens, knowing he's heard about it. "Hell, yeah." Brian says. "So, what's up with you, man?" Hector questions staring Brian down.

"I'm just waiting for Toretto." Brian says, both for the race and in regards for his sister. "Shit. get in line. This yours?" Edwin questions as he walks over. "I'm standing next to it." Brian says. "That's funny. You know, Edwin happens to know a few things. And one of the things Edwin knows is: It's not how you stand by your car...it's how you race your car. You better learn that." Edwin says letting Brian listen to his words.
