Chapter 1

 "Yibo, are you there?" The voice of the middle-aged lady accompanied by a sequence of knocking stirred Yibo from his deep slumber. Today is Saturday so Yibo decided to have some more sleep since he always woke up so early during working days.

Yibo rose from his bed and responded to the lady landlord.  
"What is it, Auntie?" replied Yibo

"I have a favor, here is the key to the next door, " the lady handed him the key.  "The new tenant will move in here today, but he didn't say what time he will be here. I have a family matter to attend at the province and stay there for a couple of days or maybe a week or so. Since you are going to be neighbors, can you give this to him and explain to him the rules?" Explained the landlord

"Alright, Auntie, I have nothing to do anyway." Yibo agreed and the lady thanked him and bid goodbye. 

"I'm in a hurry, you take care of him, thanks Yibo." She added whilst hurrying to the elevator

Yibo went back inside and did his morning routine since he couldn't sleep anymore. 

"Why is he not here yet? It's almost dark?" Yibo mumbles. He looked out the window and the dusk started to envelop the remaining glint coming from the setting sun.

A few hours later and a black Rolls-Royce parked in front of the fifth-story apartment building. 

"Is it him?" Yibo peeked from the window on the 5th floor. There are only two big flats on every floor level and all the tenants are all singles, so the apartments are quiet. That's one of the reasons why Yibo chose the place. It's perfect for the person who likes a quiet place and values solitude.

A man with long shiny jet black hair wearing all black from head to toe got out of the car and took two big pieces of luggage from the car and stood in front of the building. The guard checked his Identification and let him enter the building. 

"Second room, fifth floor, sir. The landlord left your key at your neighbor since she is out of town," the guard informed him.

"Where can I park my car?" the man's deep baritone voice brings a chilling sensation to the guard's spine.

"Ah, you can give me your car key, we have basement parking here," said the guard shivering a bit. 

The man gives his car key and told the guard to not bring him the key and he will get it by himself. 

Meanwhile, Yibo is standing in front of his door waiting for the new tenant. He is playing and fidgeting with the key on his index finger when it flew and slid a meter away and dropped in front of the elevator. 

Yibo walks to the elevator and bends his body to pick it up when the elevator swings open before he could pick up the key. 

Yibo lifted his gaze just to be surprised. He stumbled back and flopped his bottom on the ground.
