Chapter 2

The next day, Wang Yibo woke up with a smile ear to ear plastered on his pretty lips thinking about his dreams last night. 

He dreamt about his neighbor. In his dreams, he is hugging Xiao Zhan and he has a very pleasant and sweet smell like a mixture of vanilla and jasmine fragrance.

"Why did I even dream about him? Geez... Wang Yibo! Wake up already. "Wang Yibo scolded himself and got up from the bed and did his morning routine.

He prepared his cereal breakfast and planned to jog for 30 minutes at the nearby park. 
He is jogging for half an hour now and decided to get back to his unit.

"I wonder if he had his breakfast, does he even have food?" Wang Yibo stopped at the bakeshop and bought some bread, cookies, and two cups of hot chocolates. 

He was standing in front of his neighbor's door shelf hesitating whether he should knock or not.

"Geez! Is it really hard to offer him food? Why are you hesitating? Will he think of me as a weirdo? We barely met last night." Wang Yibo debates in his mind. 
"Whatever! I already bought these, it's such a waste if I didn't give him this. Wang Yibo let out a deep breath and closed his eyes before knocking on the door successively.

"What? Is this not the sound of the door? " Yibo mutters and opens his eyes.

"Oh, my holy moly!!! I mean...I'm sorry hehe," Yibo laughs sheepishly because of embarrassment and takes back his fist that is knocking on Xiao Zhan's forehead. 

Xiao Zhan caresses his forehead feigning hurt. 
"Hmm!!! I think sorry won't be enough. I think you broke my skull. "

"Eh?" Yibo looked up and there he saw a bump on Xiao Zhan's forehead.

"Oh, my! I- 'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, I only want to give you this bread. I thought you haven't eaten breakfast yet, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry. Yibo keeps bowing his head. 

"Here! Hold these!" Wang Yibo pushed the food bag to Xiao Zhan and hurriedly get to his unit next door. Xiao Zhan chuckles seeing Wang Yibo in panic. 

After a minute, Yibo came back with an ice pack in his hand and shoved Xiao Zhan inside his unit.

"Sit down," Yibo commanded Zhan and Zhan just obeyed like a puppy. He sat down on the sofa and leaned his head on the back of the sofa and let Yibo do whatever he is doing

Yibo put the ice pack on Xiao Zhan's forehead and finally, he let out a deep breath of relief.

Yibo sat down beside Zhan and his nostrils smell the familiar fragrance coming from Zhan 

"So he really smells like vanilla and jasmine." Yibo sniffing Zhan 

From Zhan's peripheral view, he can see Yibo's sweating nape, Zhan gulped hard suppressing his desire to attack Wang Yibo but Yibo's blood scents make him crave for blood. 

Zhan removes the ice pack, he leaned toward Yibo and opens his mouth wider and his fangs ready to dig a hole in Yibo's nape when Yibo lifts his head and banged into Xiao Zhan's jaw 

"Ouch!!!"

"Xiao Zhan groans in pain as he bites his lips instead. He covered his bleeding lips as he shut his eyes while Wang Yibo was in panic again. 

"Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I --- I didn't know… I thought you were…" 

"Shh!" Xiao Zhan shushes him to remain quiet and Yibo obediently shut his mouth and sat down but he keeps a meter distance from Zhan as he felt ashamed for hurting Zhan for the second time this morning. 

But little did he know, Zhan was the one who has the plan of eating him since last night 

Zhan on the other hand is internally cursing himself. "You! stupid predator!  

After a moment, Yibo decided to break the silence. 
"I think I should be going now. I'm sorry again," Yibo stood up and walked to the door while fiddling his fingers. 

Zhan finally breathed out when Yibo closed the door, he removed his hand covering his mouth and stared at the blood on his hand. He sticks out his tongue and licks the blood on his hand sensually when the door swings open wide again and reveal Wang Yibo 

"Oh! Ah, I'm sorry, I left my hot chocolates and cookies." Yibo immediately grabbed the cup and one of the bags of cookies and hurriedly ran outside leaving Zhan in a daze.

"What was that? Why is he licking his blood?" Yibo murmurs when he gets inside his unit.
"Does he like the taste of blood? Was his blood tasty?" He wonders

On the other hand, Zhan feels so embarrassed, because Wang Yibo saw him licking his blood. 
"You little devil! Just wait until tonight." Zhan mumbles. 

Night has come, and Yibo is still thinking about Zhan. To divert his mind, Yibo decided to watch a movie on Netflix and just set the timer on television so it will turn off by itself if he gets to sleep while watching. 

Wang Yibo was so engrossed in watching the film and didn't notice he consumed a pack of corn nuts while watching.  Corn nuts, also known as toasted corn, or crackers are a snack food made of roasted or deep-fried corn kernels with garlic flavorings. 

It's past midnight and Wang Yibo is now sleeping peacefully. 

"You finally knocked out, you little cub. Now I'm going to eat my food… " said Zhan rubbing his hand together while swirling his tongue.

Wang Yibo is laying sideways so Zhan pushed his shoulder to make him lay his back flat on the bed and easy for him to attack the latter's neck and suck his blood.

Xiao Zhan hovered on top of Wang Yibo confining him in between his thighs. He gently shifted Yibo's head to the left side so he could have easy access to Yibo's crook. He bends his spine and presses both hands on the sides of Yibo's head.

Xiao Zhan could see Yibo's blood flowing through his veins, Xiao Zhan drools in excitement.

Xiao Zhan opens his mouth as wide as he can and attacks Wang Yibo's exposed neck, but before his fangs can dig into Yibo's skin, he collapsed on top of Wang Yibo.

Yibo suddenly burps in his sleep. Yibo forgot to brush his teeth, and he eats too many corn nuts with garlic flavor before going to sleep. 

After a while, Xiao Zhan regains consciousness and breaths hard. He turns into bat form and flies back to his unit groggily and dumped himself on the bed.
