People often talk about 'right person, wrong time'. The idea that two people were meant for each other, that perhaps under different circumstances they could've had their 'happily ever after', but that was not the case for Peter Parker and I.

He was your typical 'I know best' kind of guy. I mean, he wasn't a bad person, in fact I had never met anyone that seemed to care more than him. I guess I can't blame him for us not working out — but I did. The more I got to know him, the more I acknowledged the fact that he was smart guy with a God-complex, but I guess that was something we had in common. Maybe the stars had already decided upon our birth that we both thought too much of ourselves to appreciate each other. Whatever the case was, by the end of the summer we'd both come to the same conclusion: We were only each other's 'wrong person, wrong time' and there was nothing, not even what happened after, that could change that.
