Look At Me

The cat's eyes lay fixated on the corner of the room
It obviously sees something I do not

An intrusive thought says
"Look at me"

I do not look

A faint silhouette of a girl appears in the corner of the room
The corner the cat is facing

The thought appears again
"Look at me"

I pull the covers over my head

I feel somethings presence inch closer and closer

look at me
Look At Me
LOOK AT ME

the voices get louder and louder
Then they stop

There is creaking at my bedside

I pull the covers down
Face to face with a hideous, melted face of a woman

In a raspy
Almost demonic voice
It says once more

LOOK AT ME
