Into hell we go.

Chapter 5

" Yo" he greeted once he got there. "Hey!" he heard from people around the guild. "Morning Natsu, how is she doing?" asked Mira Jane as he walked up to the bar.  

"Ehh, unfortunately still pretty blah, can I still have some of your soup?" he asked. "Absolutely, give me just a few minutes to get it" she said cheerfully as she went back into the kitchen. " Thanks Mira!" he yelled back at her as Gray and Erza walked up to him. 

"Oh hey guys" he waved a hand at them. " I'm going to assume since she or Nashi isn't here then she isn't feeling too good still but how is Lucy doing?" Gray asked him. "

Feels like shit" he said bluntly. "Are you having her drink lots of water?" Erza asked him rudely. "Yes Erza, , ha Nashi is helping me out with her today too" Erza and Gray smiled small smiles hearing him saying that. 

" Well at least someone is useful" Gray teased. "What was that icicle?" said Natsu putting his hand into a fist. "You heard me flame breath" he taunted. 

Before they could do anything, Erza stepped in between with her arms at both of them. "honestly you two, today is not the day for this, Lucy is sick and shouldn't be kept waiting because of you two numskulls and your inability to restrain yourselves" Erza scolded. 

 As if on que, Mira jane came out with a container of soup and handed it to Natsu. "Thanks again Mira, this should help" "Your welcome, now go home and take care of your wife" 

"Heh, I'm off, see you later guys" He waved a hand behind at Erza and Gray as he left. 

"Huh, well that was easier then I thought" said Gray partially shocked. 

Erza and Mira Jane grinned as Mira said " It's Lucy, you know nothing comes before her, not even a fight with Gray" They nodded their heads in agreement. Natsu was walking back as he thought "hopefully this will help, Mira's soup hasn't let us down yet." 

"NATSUUUUU" he heard as he saw Happy flying right at him. "Woahhhhhh, Happy slow down, what's wrong" 

"Just come on!!"he grabbed Natsu and flew off. "What the hell Happy, put me down" he demanded as Happy didn't say anything but flew them directly to the house. 

Happy put him down as Natsu burst through the door to see the pitcher on the floor with water spilled out of it. 

Putting the soup down quickly he yelled "Nashi!, Lucy!" frantic as he darted his head looking around. He heard muffled crying as he ran to his room to see Nashi huddled in a corner. 

" Nashi, what's wrong??"he asked quickly. 

"Mom, mommy, she fell in the bathroom" she said trembling. His eyes widened in panic as he said "Stay here baby dragon" as he ran to the bathroom to find Lucy standing, her back to him. " Lucy" he called out uneasy.

She turned towards him as he saw a blank expression on her face. "Luuucy..baby?" he questioned as he saw her start to walk forward as she grabbed her head and started to fall forward. "LUCE!" he screamed as he caught her and laid against his chest. 

"Lucy, hey" he put her face into his hands and had look at him. "Lucy!" he called out again as she opened her eyes. 

"Whew, thank Mavis" "Natsu?,wha..how did I get here?" she asked looking around. " Does she really not remember?" he thought as he told her "Luce, what do you remember?" 

"I had to get up to go to the bathroom but then I started to feel dizzy..umm" "Lucy, Nashi said you were on the floor" he told her, his voice serious. 

"Nashi!, is she alright?" "She's fine, come on, let's get you back to bed" he lifted her up by her putting his arms under hers and then walked her back to bed. He went back for the soup after he got her back in bed.

 "Nashi, come on over , it's alright" he assured her as she got up from the huddled position she was in. "Happy, how the heck did you come get me?, when I left you were dead asleep." 

"I heard Nashi scream and saw Lucy on the floor. She told me you went to the guild so I went after you" he explained. "Thanks buddy". "What's this?" Lucy asked pointing to the container in his hands.

 "Oh , right, Mira's famous veggie soup ,you know after you eat this, you'll feel better hee hee" he ginned at her. He went to grab a spoon as Natsu, Nashi and Happy all snuggled into the bed around Lucy. 

"Wow, maybe I should get sick more often" she joked seeing everyone huddled around her. 

"Don't even joke, do you know how weird it would be to go on a job right now without you?, no you get better so we can go look for job...and Luce"

 she looked at him as his tone changed to a tender one "All you have to ask, not even that if you want all of us here" 

"I know, thanks for taking care of me Natsu" "You got it now eat up" his head titled towards the soup as Lucy smiled and started eating the soup. 

 Once she ate that, she handed Natsu the bowl and laid her head on his leg. He put the bowl and when he turned back around, she was asleep. 

"Mommy's asleep" Nashi whispered giggling. "Yes Iggy, shhh" he whispered back putting a finger to his lips. "let's all go to sleep now" he said. "okay daddy" she answered as she snuggled against Lucy and closed her eyes.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Natsu asked Lucy after they woke up after sleeping for a few hours. 

"My nausea is gone ,thank goodness, I" she was cut off by Natsu shoving a glass of water in front of her face. 

"Drink" he said. "Natsu," He shook his head "no Lucy, drink this and then maybe tomorrow we can go looking for a job" 

"Okay" she said hopeful that she would get better as she sucked down the glass of water. "Another one please" she asked handing him the glass. 

"Coming up!, come on Iggy!" he encouraged as she woke up and bounced off the bed to catch up with Natsu. 

"Me, me!, I wanna give it to her" "Okay okay, here" he said amused handing her the glass of water as she began to run with it.

"Slow down Iggy, don't want you to trip" her face turned red in embarrassment as she stopped. "sorry daddy" she said shyly .

"Just go you goof" he told her as she sped up her walking to Lucy. " Here you go mommy" she said with a great big teeth showing grin on her face. 

"Thank you baby girl. You and daddy have been such a great help today, I'm so proud of you for being his little helper."

One more day went by before she finally felt better. Much ado to Natsu's insistent orders that she stay in the bed. She did what he asked and let him take care of her. 

She really saw Natsu being Mr. mom. Not only did he make sure she drank water but he made sure Nashi was fed and dressed then later that night ,he gave her a bath which she very much enjoyed and then collapsed on the bed after tucking Nashi into hers. 

" whew" he exclaimed as he laid there. Lucy slid over and laid her head on him with her arm over his heart. He grabbed her hand and held it. 

"You did great today Natsu, thank you so much" she thanked him. "it was no problem at all ..but now I know how you feel sometimes" "ha, yeah it's not easy sometimes" she said amused as she closed her eyes. 

"Come on let's get some sleep" she said quietly as Natsu put his arm around her and closed his eyes. " Today we find a job!!" said Lucy loudly the next morning. 

"Finally feel all better huh?" asked Natsu as he rubbed his eyes. 

 "Oh yeah!, come on Natsu!" she jumped out of bed and pulled him 

"He, woah!" exclaimed Natsu as he fell to the floor with Lucy yanking him off the bed resulting in a face plant. "Oops...sorry" she apologized with her hand behind her head. He looked up at her and gave her his big toothy grin. " It's all good Luce"
