Into hell we go.

Chapter 14

She stopped yelling as she looked at his face. 

She could see his guilt written all over it as she calmed her self and crouched down to the floor and put her hands on his knees. 

"I'm sorry.. Natsu. I saw her face and then..I don't know, I lost it. I shouldn't have taken it out on you." She saw tears slowly dripping down his face as she took his face into her hands. 

 Softly she said "hey..you didn't do this to her. This was because of the demon. I may not have been there but I know that you knocked her out because there was no other way to save her. Look at me Natsu, please" 

Her voice got his attention as his eyes looked up at her as she wiped the tears gently off that were falling. 

 "Luce.." "Shhhh, you don't have to say anymore." She told him as she wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him as it took him a minute, but he put his hands around her waist and hugged her back. 

"I love you" "I love you too Natsu.. always have, always will"

 "Come on, let's go check on her" said Natsu. " Are you sure, do you feel up to it?" asked Lucy concerned. 

"I want to find out how to get that thing out of her". She took him at his word as she grabbed his hand and walked with him . 

Using his other arm, he wiped the remaining tears off his face. They walked until they got to her room and peeked in on her. 

 "She looks still as a statue..how long until that thing wakes her up" "We aren't sure, but I don't think its going to be long" said Wendy as she came up behind them. 

 "Let's go to the guild Lucy, maybe gramps has an idea" said Natsu as he holding Lucy's hand walked them past. "Master and them already know what happened, I had Carla go and tell them what's happening" "Thanks Wendy" said Natsu.

They got to the guild where everyone was talking trying to figure stuff out. 

"Hey gramps" said Natsu and Lucy as they walked up to him. "Hello my children, I am sorry about what's happening with your child" Natsu and Lucy both had sullen looks on their faces. " What can we do to fix this?" asked Lucy. 

 "I have one option but you will not like it" said Makarov regretfully. "What is it?" they both asked in unison. "She...must be taken to the council..they will exercise the demon out of her" Both of their faces dropped as he looked at them. 

"Absolutely not" "Lucy.." " NO!, I refuse to go to them" she snapped waving her hand to the side as she adamantly refused. 

"Have you forgotten the fucking shit they have put me and Natsu through and now they expect me to let them near my daughter, No I refuse" "Lucy, stop" Lucy turned to him in complete surprise as he seemed freakishly calm about this. 

"Natsu!, how can you say that, you of all people" "Believe me.. I can't stand them and I'm not into this idea as much as you ...but gramps wouldn't suggest this if there was any other way. Think about it Luce.. do you know of anyone else who could expel a demon out of Nashi safely?". 

" I just..hhate." He went and stood directly behind her as he grabbed her hands and squeezed. They both closed their eyes as she laid back against him as he put his cheek against hers. 

"I know Luce..she'll be alright though" She squeezed his hands for reassurance which he returned as everyone went silent letting them have their moment. 

Once they had their moment, he stepped out from behind her and stood next to her. "Okay gramps, if this is the way to do it , then let's do it" he said spirited . 

" Alright , let's go, Gray and Erza, Happy you come too" he said as they all followed Makarov to the council.

Once they got there, Jurrah was there to greet them as they followed him to the backroom with Nashi who was transported magically as she was laid down on a bed. 

 "I hate this.. I hate that we have to do this" mumbled Lucy. Natsu gave her an understanding look but they both turned as they saw Nashi open her eyes. 

"Nashi" they both said unsure. A wicked grin appeared on her face as she attempted to jump at them but cuffs appeared on her hands before she could move. 

They clamped to her hands and feet as she shook her body all over. "Nashi!" freaked Lucy as Natsu grabbed her to keep her from going over. 

He saw the eerie smile Nashi had on her face. "That's not her Luce" he said as he glared at the thing inside his daughter. "haha she screamed when the fire touched her" he gloated 

"Shut your damn mouth" snapped Natsu. " I'm going to make her cry more..I won't go easy." 

"You bastard!" Natsu yelled as his hand swung but Erza caught it before It went flying. 

"Erza, Gray, get them out of here" said Makarov as they grabbed them but they didn't go willing. 

"Let me go Erza!" yelled Natsu. 

"Gray!" cried Lucy. "hahahha" the demon laughed. "GET OUT OF HER!!!" screamed Lucy as they were dragged out. Leaving Nashi with Makarov and the rest of the council.

He walked up to her. 

"HeeHee. She is terrified" said the demon gleefully. 

"Let me talk to her you piece of filth" In an instant ,Nashi was back. Her face full of tears and fear. "Nashi, my child. I'm so sorry." "It'sss oookkay" she struggled. 

"Is ittt ggoing to hhurt?" Makarov closed his eyes and nodded in regret. "PPlease get it ouuut.. Dddaddy is in enough pain."

 " Such a brave little girl, she didn't say anything about the pain she knows she's going to be in." he thought as he smiled a kind smile at her which she returned as the demon came back to the surface. Makarov's kind face turned to one of stone cold anger.

 " You will leave this child you bastard" He looked up and nodded to the other members as they stood around her. 

" Let's begin" he said as they closed their eyes and began to chant. 

 Natsu and Lucy were sitting there waiting for an answer when they heard a scream making then tense up but they knew they couldn't go in. 

 A couple hours went by as Natsu paced furiously back and fourth while Lucy sat in a chair crying as they heard their baby cry out in pain as it sounded like they were tearing her apart.

 A shrill shriek got their attention as Natsu had enough and tried to burst through the door. Gray grabbed him and stopped him. "You can't man. They have to do this." 

"THEY ARE TORTURING HER!!!" " I know , I'm sorry but look" he said in an understanding voice as Natsu turned behind them. 

 They saw Erza holding a very distraught Lucy. "Lucy" he said softly as he stopped fighting Gray and walked over to Erza and Lucy . 

He just gave her a look as she let go of Lucy as Natsu put his hands around her stomach as she leaned into him as he lowered them slowly to the floor. 

'"N.nnnaa." she couldn't finish her words but she didn't because he felt the same way. He didn't say anything as he let her cry.
