Into hell we go.

Chapter 8

   Once the tickle battle was over, they all just hung at the guild and sat at Mira's bar. Nashi got herself a juice and Lucy and Natsu got a soda to drink. 

"So what are you guys going to do for the rest of the day guys?" Mira asked them. 

"I'm not sure yet but I might spend some time with Nashi. It's been a while since I've had some quality time with her" said Natsu. 

 Nashi turned her head hearing her name only to have Natsu say "maybe do some training hmmm?" That got her attention like he knew it would. 

She sprang right out of her seat into the air to have Lucy and Natsu's breath caught in their chest for a moment as they watched their daughter fly through the air to land just barely on Natsu. 

Breathing a sigh of relief he said " well guess we don't need to ask if your excited do we?" "Jeeze baby girl, nearly gave your dad and I a heart attack" said Lucy . 

"Sorry mommy" "It's alright, just try not to jump from the chair anymore" she said with a light smile. 

"Okay..well come on daddy!!" she yelled excited as she hopped off Natsu and grabbed at his hand pulling him making him laugh. 

"Ha well guess that's it for me for now, see you laaaaterrr" he called out as Nashi pulled him out the door. Lucy and Happy giggled as they watched him disappear.

They knew more then anything else that she loved training with him. 

Practicing her fire magic with him was her favorite thing to do and they didn't get to do it as often so Nashi was piped up whenever she got the chance. 

Deep down Lucy knew it wasn't just the fire training, Natsu was her hero and she just loved spending time with him no matter what they were doing. 

" Well Happy, that just leaves you and me so what do you want to do?" she asked him. "Hmm, go for a walk..maybe catch some yummy fishies" he answered with a hopeful look in his eyes.

 Lucy rolled her eyes and said "should have known there would be fish involved" "Oh come on Lucy' he whined. 

" I was teasing furball, come on ,let's go for a walk then we can come grab your fishing stuff" "Aye!" he agreed happily as he jumped off his seat and started walking with Lucy waving goodbye to everyone with her.

"Fire dragon talon!!" yelled Nashi as flames came shooting out. 

"Woah woah there easy there little firebreather. Your not trying to wreck anything" "though I should be the last person to tell you that" he told himself. 

"Sorry daddy" "It's okay" he answered grinning as he walked and kneeled down beside her. "Alright now ,take a breath and look around before you to the next one" said Natsu. 

They had been training for about an hour. She took a deep breath and looked around like Natsu told her. 

"Alright now, let's see your fire dragon roar baby dragon" he said encouraging. 

"Fire..dragon...ROAR!!!" she screamed as she let out a huge blast of fire from her mouth. After a minute, she stopped to have Natsu clapping his hand. 

"Your getting so much better baby girl. I'm so proud of you" he congratulated as he picked her up. 

"Thank you!!" she answered as she threw her hands around his neck and hugged him. 

He hugged her back then put her down as he winked one eye and said "How about that game? , I think we've done enough training" 

"Yay!!, let's play!, you count and I'll go hide" 

"Ha alright Iggy, but you better get going," he said patting her on the back as she went running. " One minute!!" she yelled as he chuckled then closed his eyes and began counting. 

"59, 58, 57, 56"....9,8,7 ,6 , 5 , 333333, twooooooo, two and a half. Better be ready Iggy cause one!, ready or not , here I come"

Lucy and Happy were enjoying their walk in the park together. 

 "So why did you want to go fishing with me Happy? , I always thought that was more yours and Natsu's thing." 

 " It is usually but I wanted to do something with you. Me and you don't really have a thing that we do together so I just thought why not fishing." He answered honestly.

 "Aww , well thank you.. that wasn't a joke right" "I'm offended Lucy!, you think I would lie about that?" She gave him a skeptic look that said yes you would lie. 

"Well I wasn't lying, I swear" he put his hand over his heart and looked at her. "I believe you, thank you Happy" 

 "Uh huh, now let's keep walking so we can get to fishing" he picked up his pace making Lucy laugh. 

"Wait up furball" she said after him. It took a couple minutes since he decided to open his wings and fly some but she caught up with him and pulled his tail while he was grinning to himself. 

"Hey!" he yelled after Lucy pulled him to the ground and was leaning above him. "That's what you get for cheating, we're supposed to be walking remember?" she said in a straight voice. 

"Sorry" he apologized. "It's alright Happy, come on let's go get those fishing poles" she said standing herself up. 

"Aye!" he said happily as he wrapped his tail around Lucy and lifted her to where they could find their fishing poles.

"Nashi!, where are you?" he yelled putting his hands near his mouth. "Hee hee, I'm going to find you little dragon, just wait" He knew he could automatically find her with his nose if he tried but that would ruin the fun so he stuck to just looking for her like anyone else would. 

 There was nothing buts woods in their backyard so he knew she could be anywhere in there. 

 Covering her mouth with her hands, she laughed quietly as she was hidden behind a patch of bushes and she was small enough to be hidden from anyone. 

"He'll never find me here" she thought cleverly to herself. Little did she know, Natsu knew he was close for his ears had picked up her voice. 

"Clever kid..good that will help her when she gets older and goes for jobs" he thought to himself. He thought of a genius plan as he put a hand to his mouth. 

"I'm COMING FOR YOU!" he screamed throwing his voice in the other direction making Nashi lift her head up. 

"He's going completely the opposite direction. Yay for smart thinking!" she cheered to herself as she did a victory dance. 

She didn't hear the one sneaking right up behind her as he jumped and said "GOTCHA!" loudly as he grabbed her making her yell as Natsu held her up and then put her down making her laugh. 

"You scared me daddy!" "Ha, I didn't mean to scare you that bad Iggy". 

"Hey daddy, what's that?" asked Nashi pointing behind him. 

"Huh?" he turned to see what she was looking at. A gateway to somewhere had opened right in the middle of the forest. 

"Uhhh, Nashi..did you???" "How the heck do I know!, can I even do that?" she said feeling very confused. 

They both stepped forward when a clawed hand came out and straight for Nashi. 

"DADDY!!" she shrieked. "Don't worry Nashi, I got you!" he said irritated as he punched at the clawed hand which backed off for a second but then went for them both as Natsu shielded himself over Nashi.

 "Don't worry Nashi , I got you!" "AHHHHHHH" they both screamed as the hand pulled them through then the gateway closed and disappeared as if it had never been there in the first place.
