Into hell we go.

Chapter 6

Picking himself up the floor, he tossed on a shirt and got on his shoes and went to grab Nashi. " Come on baby dragon, going to help mom and dad find a job today." He prodded her gently as she rubbed her eyes. " really daddy?" she asked sleepily. 

"Yup so come on" She threw her blanket off and jumped off her bed. "haha hold up Iggy, let's get you dressed little firecracker" he said amused as he went to her dresser and pulled out some clothes for her. 

 She raised her arms up as Natsu took her night gown up over her head and put a shirt over her. "How's it going in here?" Lucy asked leaning against the door frame "All good in here?' replied Natsu looking at her with a thumbs up. 

Nashi pulled her pants up and got socks on. "Ready mommy" she said pleased with herself. 

"Your forgetting something Nashi" Lucy said with a grin as Nashi put her shoes on and reached up to the collar of her shirt. 

"Oh no!" she exclaimed running back to her room and yanked something off her bed. "Feel better now?"

 "Yes mommy" Nashi answered grinning as she wrapped Natsu's scarf around her neck. "Let's go!" announced Natsu as him and Happy stood at the front door waiting for them. "Coming!" said the girls. 

"I'm all fired up now" said Natsu and Nashi as they all went running. "Aye!" said Happy.

"Hey guys!" Mira greeted happily as they came through the door. "Morning" replied the Dragneels. "What are you guys looking for today?" she asked. 

"Weeee aren't, ,well not specifically us but Nashi is going to look at the jobs today" said Natsu. "Oh , good luck Nashi" Mira said giving Nashi a thumbs up with a big smile. 

"Thanks Mira" she said as she walked up to the request board with Lucy while Natsu went to talk to Erza and Gray. 

"So munchkin is picking our job today huh? Asked Gray in humor. "Yup but Lucy is going to make sure it isn't a crap job..like that theatre one again" he whispered to Gray. 

"Both of you stop it, this is good for Nashi" she scolded the two laughing mages. 

"This will broaden Nashi's view and get her used to world." "Yeah, whatever Erza, long as its not with the nutjob again, I'll do any job" said Gray lazily. "Yo, any luck Luce?" Natsu called over. "Still looking" she replied 

"See anything you want to try baby?" she asked Nashi. "I don't know mommy" she answered conflicted. "Well okay, to trim it down, nothing more than maybe a day and nothing with dark guilds" she told her. 

"I get it with the dark guilds but mommy" Lucy put a finger to Nashi's mouth stopping her and causing her to look up at her mother. 

" I'm not going to push that with your daddy Nashi, we both agreed nothing more then two days if we take on a job. So we either find a simple job or 2 day one, nothing more" 

"Okay fine" huffed Nashi. 

" Let's go with this one then" She pointed as Lucy took it off the request board. "Hmm, please come help me. my house needs a fire wizard to help heat my lacrama to keep my house warm..200 jewel. Jeeze, that's barely enough to go around" said Lucy but she saw Nashi's determined face. 

" Well at least with this job, Natsu can't blow anything up" she thought as she perked up a smile and said "Mira, we got a job" "Alright Lucy, which one did you take?" 

"The fire breather, hey Natsu!, got one right up your alley" she announced walking up to him as he took the flyer out of her hands. 

"Ha!, oh yeah man, Now we're talking. Looks like we don't need you Ice cube ,heehee" "Keep bragging numskull, we'll see how far that gets you." " well let's get going" said Erza. 

"Say what?, Erza there's barely enough of a reward to even split between all of us" said Gray. 

"It doesn't matter, we are a team and therefore no matter how small a job, we will go anyway" she stated boldly as Gray rolled his eyes. 

"Well come on then" he mumbled as he shuffled his feet towards the door. "Yay a fire job!, maybe I'll get to help daddy" Nashi said excited. 

"Yeah maybe you can Iggy" Natsu agreed giving her a high five. "I'm all fired up now!" cheered Nashi. "Let's go Happy" said Natsu. "AYE sir!" and team Natsu went off to the job.

"Alright Nashi if I let you do this, you need to be careful okay?" said Natsu. "Yes daddy" she replied as they approached the house. 

"Are you Fairy Tail wizards?" the man asked as he opened the door. 

They all nodded their heads as he said "show me your emblems" Nashi proudly lifted her shirt to show her emblem on her shoulder as the others all showed theirs. " Thank you for coming Fairy Tail, now which of you is the fire wizard?" 

"That would be these two" said Lucy as she waved her arm in front of Natsu and Nashi. "Two fire wizards?, I didn't expect that oh and my name is Mr. Sanchez." 

"Nice to meet you and this is my daughter Nashi" said Natsu placing a hand on Nashi's shoulder. 

" Alright Nashi, you ready?" he asked her looking down at her. She put her hands in two thumbs up as she eagerly said "Aye sir!" making her family laugh. 

"Alright baby dragon, listen to what he has to say " stated Natsu as he gave Nashi a light nudge moving her forward. "Oh is the child going to do the job?" asked Mr. Sanchez. 

"Yes sir, give her a shot, she's got a lot more fire power in her then she looks...unless that's a problem" Natsu said with a slight growl. 

"Easy Natsu" Erza cautioned putting a firm hand on Natsu's shoulder. " Please sir, give her a chance. She inherited her father's fire magic and we are trying to show her what is like it is like to do a job" Erza told him in a professional manner. 

"Alright, well let's see what you have child" he said with a gentle smile as he led her to the lacrama. 

 She walked up to the lacrama and looked back at Natsu who said with a smile "go on Iggy, show him what you got" her cheeks blushed some as she turned back towards the lacrama and put her hands up to it flaming them up and letting fire blast it. 

 "You got this baby, keep going" cheered Lucy. Everyone was watching as Nashi poured her flames into the lacrama powering it up.

Lucy walked up behind Natsu after a few more minutes and put a hand on his shoulder where he leaned down. 

"What's up?" he whispered. "Help her Natsu, it's straining her" she answered back in a whisper. They both looked and noticed the struggle on her face as she was struggling . 

"What happened to cheering her on?" asked Natsu. "Ugh, Natsu, look at her. She can't keep this up much longer." "Alright" he said as he walked up next to her. 

"Daddy?" she questioned. 

" Hey Iggy, let me help you, we'll show him what two fire dragon slayers can do" Nashi got a smile of confidence as she turned back towards the flame as Natsu flamed up his hands and blasted at the lacrama. 

 Finally the lacrama was filled with flame as the house started to heat up. "Thank you Fairy Tail and thank you child" said Mr. Sanchez. 

" Your welcome" replied Erza as they began to walk out as Nashi sat right on the ground. "I'm pooped" she expressed as she laid herself on her back with her arms spread out.

 " You did great baby girl" said Lucy. "Nice job munchkin" added Gray. "Thanks mommy and uncle Gray" she replied. 

"Alright little dragon, up we go" encouraged Natsu as he picked up from behind and put her on his shoulders. "Yay" Nashi said cheerfully as she put her hands out to her sides as Natsu chuckled. 

"Liking it up there?" "Yes, come on daddy!, time to go home"

I thought this chapter was a sweet one for Nashi and Natsu.
